I'd take guess that a new Forza Game will be available not too far after scorpio's release.
Unlike these guys.

That's a given. Looking at Forzas release schedule, the majority of their games come out between September and November, and the Scorpio is set to release in late 2017.

@davidt33 Sadly no :( But don't worry. PSX is coming up. We might get something then.

If not a release date, then hopefully a rain / night racing showcase, and a little sneakpeek on how a livery is made. I'm itching for some livery editor clips!

I can see it now, "The FiA portion of the game is still being developed. We look forward to bringing that component of the game soon. Enjoy the racing etiquette tests and weekly seasonals.

Livery editor will be available momentarily, as we continue to fine tune this feature.

The library of cars will increase with a new batch available each month. Continue to check GT News for updates."

If that actually happens they can stick it in their ear sideways.

To tide you over in the meantime, here's a new Lada VGT convertible that corners at 8g's, has 1900 hp that emits zero carbon emissions and races against LMP1's. Enjoy!

I'd be quite happy if they release it for this December even if it was not quite complete. Then they could release whatever incremental updates accordingly as usual.
December would be a great time for marketing and sales in my opinion.

Why the 23rd? That means a couple of days at the very least of waiting before being able to play for many people.

I kinda feel they will surprise us and release it in time for this Christmas 2016. (((((((Chi-chiingggg))))). Money in the bank.

I am truly disappointed with PD. First off, PD could have honestly released this game on November 15th. I thought about it for a while, and there is a good chance that PD delayed the game in order to make it PS4 Pro compatible, which is not a valid reason for anyone to delay a game. They should have also had the game 75% done at the unveiling event, not 50%. If they were to have worked quicker, they would have met the deadline. I mean, how much time does it take to create a car, 3 weeks to a month at most, and 45-60 days for a track? Second, we were all excited for a public beta, but guess what, it never happened! Instead, we got a lousy excuse of a unveiling event. Ok that may have been out of line, but still, you can't just cancel a beta or delay a game and get no backlash from it. I am honestly tired of the BS that these people make us deal with. We just want a new GT game Kaz! How long will it take you to get some more staff members, and produce a decent game! Ok... I am done ranting. Bottom line, when PD set that dead line of November 15th, they should have made it a point to complete the most important parts of the game, like cars, tracks, physics, lighting, textures, and then possibly add the photo mode and other gimmicks in updates or patches. I personally am questioning how they are spending their time in that studio. I just hope they clean their act up for GT7's release.

It shouldn't have been a big surprise they delayed it though. We're used to it now. Remember the GT5 delay?

Sorry guys, I had to speak my peace about all the crap that has got on for these past 13 months, hence the extremely long rant. That's why I put it here. Also, I did not notice the crying and whining thread until just now. LOL. I Should have put the rant in that section of the GTS forum.

I don't get the notion it was delayed for Pro. If anything it was supposed to be the marquee title that launched with it. They obviously knew about the pro years ago and as I say, the original release date strongly suggests it was supposed to be Pro ready already, not something they started as an afterthought that caused the delay.

That makes sense, they probably did know about Pro. However, could they have known the specs of the Pro in the beginning of GT Sport's development? I'm only asking because Kaz appeared to have little to no knowledge about Pro at the GT Sport announcement at Paris Game Week.

He is on the board of Sony. He knew, and knew before just about any other developer. He just chose to pretend he didn't. The specs may not have been final when they started development but there is still no way it's the reason of the delay. Pro is already out now, GT isn't.

That is a valid point.
I'm still sad that they dragged their feet to much with development. Like I said in my previous post, they had 50% of the game done at the Copper Box according to Kaz. I think that if they were to have had started development before the Paris Game Week event, and had the game roughly 75% complete at copper box, then they would have not had to delay the game. I personally believe they were not designing the game with a deadline in mind, and that they will release the game when they feel it is appropriate, even if that time is way beyond the deadline. Although that could be from a lack of staff, I'm not really sure.

Handful of "funny" posts deleted.

Doubtful. This is a game that needs a marketing lead-up to release. Launching it post-Black Friday without a marketing campaign would be a bad decision, IMO. GT2 had that exact problem in Canada.
