It's just a 3D rendered scene, that's probably why you guys think it looks like a GT trailer.

Well, it's yet another rather standard looking boutique fantasy supercar IMO. Consider my interest at 0. Hopefully it really isn't something PD are spending any time on.

All this swishy future ***** makes me hanker for some vintage automobile action... Kinda jealous of the latest car pack from Forza in this respect...

No news whatsoever yet. Has GTS news itself been delayed or something?

I'm pretty positive that they are waiting until the news they release is 100% accurate as to avoid the same mistakes they've done in the past. At this point anything would be nice though

They're probably saving the info for a presentation.

If you're starved for news, here's a bone to chew on, from Gran Turismo's facebook page:

The method change they're talking about is for online multiplayer, changing from Peer-To-Peer technology to something else. It's pretty vague though, and chances are that it's just generic PR talk. I don't know how involved their facebook team is in the development of GT Sport...

If they're actually serious about it being an e-sport, then they better have dedicated servers for the online.

I don't think their social media team is involved in any form of their development process other than being told what info is good to be mentioned. That GT6 netcode doesn't need polish, it needs a complete rebuild.

...I'll literally bet you my two year old left shoe that PDI's FB PR team aren't even based in Japan, let alone anywhere near the development of the game... :indiff:

Yes, I'm aware that they are PD employees, otherwise they wouldn't be on their social media profiles answering questions. They're not the employees making the game though, just passing very little info from PD to fans and vice versa.

I'm not really sure why people are thinking that the responses on FB are coming from someone not associated with the project at all. Typically, the marketing personnel or secretary also handles the Social Media and I don't see it being any different with PD/GT.

My job for example, the secretary who is located at the primary office is also responsible for updating the Social Media. She knows everything that's going on and stays up to date for those very reasons.

...

I didn't say they weren't PDI employees...
