Have a look at this.

At the end of the video listen to the sound. I am 101% sure that this is the sound of the Koenigsegg Agera R from Driveclub.
Am I wrong?

EDIT: Here is an example

But if you are in doubt if those sounds should be of Agera or AMG - you might go looking for RL sound examples for those cars and compare THAT ;)

The pitstop part looks to good for gameplay. We just have seen a part of the Intro?

I wonder how many casuals out there feel the same as what I read on another forum,, some guy put something like, Im gonna skip this shortened version and wait for the proper GT7....

Away from this hardcore GT forum I wonder how many others are thinking the same?

I don't think most casual gamers even know there's a GT coming out. My step-son who is a gamer, but doesn't do forums, had no idea there was a new GT coming, until I told him.

According to Kaz this is GT7 so you may be waiting for a very long time.

I wouldnt be surprised for there to be many within GTP thinking the same.

I agree that the entry/exit looks like its from the replay, but can you point out the extra effects? It looks like the pit animations are exactly the same.
No hud(obviously), wider more cinematic camera angle and blur just to start with. If its just an replay than call me impressed.

That's the good thing about being a HC fan :D you don't care about it

As an aside, this UI design seems to have been dumped, no? Haven't seen anything like this since the Copper Box.
Yes, you're correct, it has been dumped. The picture I put up was from E3 2016, this is the new one

I'm still hoping it gets refined. The top banner is a bit wide, although it seems like it could be the right way to go to crop the picture and widen the aspect ratio. Maybe the bottom banner could be the issue (in my eyes).

💡 Just had a crazy idea! Don't call me a genius but, what if there's an online career mode? :dopey:

You know, working your way up the ladder from Honda Civic to Gr.3 NSX?

That would force everyone to buy PS+ just to play a traditional career mode though. IMO would be a horrible decision to lock that content behind Sony's paywall. I don't care about online enough to subscribe to PS+ or have the time to get the most out of it.

Isn't that exactly what GT Sport is? Your career is online, you're not just driving in random online races, it's all interconnected. It's not all that different from other online games like CoD with people trying to rank up, unlock items and improve their stats.

I don't think there's an online career mode. You use the offline tutorial campaign to unlock cars by beating certain missions + gain money to buy new cars. Seems you can also gain money in arcade mode. That takes place of the old GT career mode progression.

You know that mysterious "Mileage" that unlocks upgrades? Well on a larger picture it will also be a measure (pre-requisite) by witch we progress all other aspects of our careers. And would be what provides thet interconnection medium @AH49 mentioned :)

Depending on how it is structured the whole Sport Mode/FIA business could be a career of sorts. There is huge potential there but if it's just a series of races where stats are accumulated endlessly and someone eventually comes out on top, that's not much of a career. If it's highly organized, going from week to week and track to track, keeping track of overall standings relative to your driver rating, has a beginning and an ending etc., that is what I'd consider an online career. If that's the case, IMO it needs to be structured in such a way that a great many players have a chance at "winning". Only one person can win outright of course, but there should be winners by country, by driving class, by driver rating groups etc. The forums should be full of "Gr. X, Season 4, Country Y, Driver Rating Z" champions. This gives a wide, wide range of players a shot at competing fairly, with similarly skilled individuals, in a class of cars they like and enjoy, and the ability to do it over and over in regularly scheduled seasons.

So you can say it is like "motorsport Olympics" isn't it? Because that is what I think about it for quite some. Basically, what you have to do is collecting points, trophies or achievements as much as you can. Then, there are leaderboards based on your driver class, categories/groups or regions/countries for each type of racing discipline such as track racing, rallying and drift. Probably a gymkhana as well if it is included. To me this is sounds somehow exactly like an Olympics where it got types of sport events such as athlethics, gymnastics, swimming etc and which country collected more medals or points than the others is the winner. Perhaps GTS is going to follow on how Olympics classification system work

Well anyway, don't mind if you think all of this doesn't quite make sense. Somehow this is what I thought about it for quite some time. Maybe I could give better example rather than Olympics but can't think any other than that...
