I just played some more, literally got off now. The demo is still up. Now getting back to the game:
Hate to sound like a jerk, but guys ignore the negativity. If this game had serious flaws I would mention them. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is this is the most refined GT I've ever played. The new reward system is neat, has three categories now. The menu and menu music is very refined. The backgrounds in the menu are awesome as well, random live shots of cars driving by. Random historical facts pop up. Very chill menu music. Zero glitches what so ever(besides demo closing down, only happened once so far, and not an issue with full game). There is a friggin watch museum too! I didn't look at it yet but will in the full game, lol. The graphics are really good, the lighting is really good. The tracks are more vibrant. Maybe not as alive as Forza but getting close. The physics everyone will be happy with. It's not like other hardcore sims, but it has it's own style which is both realistic(for most part), fun and a bit easier than other hardcore sims. The AI is competitive now. Not bat$hit crazy like AC AI which will bring you to tears. The 'campaign' portion is very fun, that's actually I've been playing.
There are three sections and you have to progress to unlock more and more levels. It's a good amount of content that will keep you happy for awhile. I can't comment on the track list since I don't know where to access it. You can customize your cars and driver. They really focused on quality and you will notice it. They took their time and it actually paid off this time, unlike previous titles which seemed rushed.
This game is very fun too. GT is our playstation exclusive and you guys should go out and support it. It's not a hardcore sim only like other titles, this is a sim that is also fun and has many unique features to it.
The only genuine issue I see right now, is the car list. There is not a great variety. They have addresses and will put forth free dlc. Another thing that would be nice if they could add more events to the 'campaign' mode in the future to keep us occupied. Now I would like to publish my initial car dlc wishlist:
-Chevrolet: Camaro SS 1LE, Camaro ZL1 1LE, Standard Z06, future ZR1
-Ford: Mustang GT350, future GT500, Focus RS(new one, unless it's already in the game, forgot)
-Ferrari: 430 or 430 scuderia, 488 GTB, 812, 599 GTB or GTO, F50
-Lamborghini: Aventador, LP640, Diablo
-Nissan: 370z Nismo and GTR nismo
-Porsche: Turbo 911, GT2 RS
-Audi: v10 r8 plus, s5-s7?
-Mercedes: Need some AMG coupes and sedans(c63s, e63, cls 63), Slr 722
-BMW: M3, M5, M6, i8?

First sport race of day. The coaster track. Spent hour qualifying. NSX chosen. First 5 just better than me pack behind just worse. Started in 6th. SO basically first 2 laps all stayed the same I just concentrating on a smooth race, happy to take 6th. What could stop me?
Start of last lap first chicane...ah yeh...3 cars behind me shunted me off. Got a 4 second penalty. Fought back to 10th. Still havent had one fair race yet.
Admittedly the qualifying was fun, 3 tracks to try out multiple cars on, see which suits me best. BUt I'm not paying $60 or $90 for a qualifying/time trial game.

Keep getting 'unable to save' messages. But when I back out of the game, then reboot the game my progress is saved. Hopefully this has something to do with it still being a demo. As much as I love the gameplay, details & such, I hate that it needs to be online at all times to save. That's the only flaw for me with GT sport. Everything I else, is awesome.
This makes me worry. If there was to be a new GT game in years to come, would the servers get shut down for GT Sport like they did with GT5 when GT6 came out? Surely they would make it so it could save offline. Surely.

How exactly (not guesswork) do I get my score up? Can you get your score up just by being a decent chap (im being immodest here) and NOT a great driver (now being honest)?
Just tried a lobby event again. Is there ANY point in entering these for any reason other than testing your blood pressure pills?
Seaside reverse in N200. Which Im awful at but figured would be practice. Ahh for the second time race started and my car refuses to budge off start line. Car ahead had same problem so we both quit.
