While in photo mode > camera settings, under the first tab ( the tabs on the right of the screen) there is a second tab set by default to off. Switch that on and it will ask you to select a car to lock the camera on. I hope you'll understand, or maybe someone will explain to you better.
Thanks man i'll check it out!!

Anyone know where I can go in the game to change the FFB and sensitivity settings for the G29? I figured it would be in the options menu under controllers. But when I get in there, all i'm seeing are the list of buttons and what they actually do.

Am I the only one who dislikes the excessive use of flashing headlights? It’s abused so much as a way to distract other racers.

It's not distracting me, but some players use it even if they don't have to. But it's better to have this option along with the blinkers.

I agree but I guess you’d get a reprimand in real life if you used it inappropriately, no? Especially if we ever get a night race in Sport Mode.

Now that my safety rating is S and my driving rating is B, Im kind of bored of sport mode.

My suggestion is for PD to add a points system for every round of of Sport races, with driver scoring groups based on their DR rating.

12 pts for finishing a race first, 11 for second, etc. 3 pts for every position you gained by the end of the race. 2 pts for leading the most laps. 4 pts if you run a completely clean race. 2pts for setting fast lap. etc etc

I think we need a system like this, because at the moment theres not much reason for me to continue running sport races. Once you've done all the current races 4-5 times theres really no drive to keep going. This points system encourages you to keep racing to try and climb the leaderboard.

Thank goodness I don't play all the time, because I would probably succumb to the server issues all of you have been having...

I think you’ll find that this has been thought about but we dont get to experience it yet as the events haven’t started.

well, let's wait for the FIA nations and others cups, maybe that's what you are looking for.

D.

But you race for rating and not for racing? Because inplay raceing games for racing and not for rating ;)

Only reason to get my rating up is to race with people with same mind on racing as i am, fair without ending in the guard rail because some behind didnt saw me brake.....

Yeah agreed, I also think this could help with a lot of the chaos of the mid field in the larger lobbies... if people can see a benefit to being conservative, it might help the general approach of some players and make it more fun for everyone

It would help if they changed the track/cars more often. Also, points for overtaking would be a bad idea because people would just purposely set bad times.

Wait for the 3 championships coming up, where they keep score. Sport mode hasn't really started yet actually...
Even daily races isn't working at 100% IMO, it seems they are now changing races more frequently, which was probably what was intended but slowed down by network issues or something.

If you have a limited time per day to play thats a bad idea. With only 2-3h(per day) in the week to play I didn't even sort out my setup at the Nurburgring yesteday. Changes twice per week are the max they should do so the working people still have a chance to compete.

I always liked the setup on Race Driver: Grid. 4 race mini-championships. Always happening around the clock with about 8 tracks on rotation with 4 randomly selected. You could join the mini-championship at any time, so you may enter on race 4, but then if you stayed in that group you'd then join in from the first race for when the mini-championship reset. Starting grid was based on reverse order of the championship table, so the best drivers would have to work their way through from the back. Spent so much time playing that online until they shut the servers down on PS3. Still not had that much enjoyment from online racing until GT Sport arrived, so just hope they can add something similar to that with this game.

Or they could announce the schedule each week so you can deliberately pass your turn on some races and prepare for others (e.g. practice Tuesday & Wednesday for Friday or Saturday race). This way you have more time per race to practice and tweak setup. :)
As there are no point scoring, there are no real downside if you only enter 1 race on 2 or 3.

Or maybe no. What about letting people who can't play 12 hours a day a chance to win ? Are we talking about driving skills or training? Do your own training on your side if you want.

Yesterday I qualified 10th on Nurburgring after just 2 laps of qualification. I won the race with passing the 1st in the last lap and my best lap was 2second under my qualification time. That's how I like GTS.

Seems like the matchmaking is starting to work properly now. Finally had some races where everyone matched my DR- D and SR-S. Got my first pole position and won 2 races having only finished no higher that 5th before. All on the Kyoto GR4 track driving the Cayman and T300RS. Best time still 3 seconds off the best in the world. I managed a 1.46.02, but know I can go a few tenths quicker in some of those sectors. How's everyone else been doing on this track?

Or you just happened to be online when there were enough drivers of your exact rating to fill a single lobby.

Strategic question. When I pit and refuel, the number of estimated laps I can do with a given amount of fuel, it that always with fuel mapping 1? Or whatever mapping I have set at the moment I enter the pits?
it will recalcute when you change your fuel map, anytime you change it.

In fairness, whilst I can't speak for others PD's servers have been sound for me. The only blip was yesterday for about an hour and that was PSN going down. Otherwise the servers have been running fine here, mind I haven't been on sport mode or online in lobbies much, been enjoying things "offline".

Though for now the one main gripe is having to be online to save your game. If your connection is relatively solid like mine then it's fine, but for others it's much more difficult, and ultimately is a bit of a pain. But hey-ho I guess, as otherwise the servers for GTS seem far more solid compared to GT6, which is how it's supposed to be I guess .
