logging takes care of 7days
I did not pass the demo drive or the level I won

and they could have at least a 2 or 4 hour ride with prizes

because this is for us older GT drivers, it is a great disappointment if it stays on that
I do not intend to still pay for ps +, to drive online

I actually thought cars in GT6 felt different(i use a controller). The cars felt different to each other, in terms of steering. Some would drag to the left or right, some were sensitive, some were stiff, some felt suction-cupped to the ground(RE Ameniya FD3S) and so on.

Even though I use a controller, I can still feel slight nuances in the way each car handles.

Yes I was generalising and GT6 was an improvement from earlier games but what I was really referring to is the feeling of copy/paste physics where it kind of felt like I was playing slight variations of the same car.

I don't understand what you are saying.

I was with you all the way up to ‘logging’

I made a status about this the other day but I'm frankly amazed that PD didn't decide to add an overall racing history section to your profile. When you base most of the game's long-term appeal on online racing but don't provide many stats at all on the actual participation - it seems pretty poor.

I'm keeping a Google Docs spreadsheet with my results but this should really be tracked in-game, alongside a lot of other stuff.

Driveclub was particularly fantastic for this type of thing.
Yes, race result history would be nice like League of Legends

I went into GT Sport expecting not to spend too long playing it but boy was I wrong. I've never done much online racing due to an unreliable schedule not suited to organised/league racing and the complete mess that most public lobbies tend to be. So far however in the online races I have run in GT Sport I have had a fantastic time. The ghosting system seems to work better than in any other game which leaves me confident to race and not getting frustrated at being taken out by people driving ridiculously while also not having me living in fear that a mistake from myself will ruin somebody else's race.

The only thing disappointing me so far in how infrequently the Sport mode races cycle. In future I would love to see a situation where the active races constantly cycle allowing for a bigger variety. At the moment I find myself playing each race once a day and then switching and playing something else simply because I don't want to get bored driving the same races over and over. I'd play significantly more if there was a constant cycle of races.

@Monkey Man Now that you mention that, the first wheel I've had was the G27 and then went to the G29 for the PS4. They are both 900 so I've never used a 180 before. Probably why I never paid attention to it :P

But yeah, good point!
You lucky bugger.

I've used this wheel since I bought it new for $80 at least 13 years ago, maybe 15, and I cannot imagine correcting an out-of-control car with 900º. I accept that the minimum for most wheels these days seems to be a tad higher than 180, but you'd think adjusting to 200 or 240º wouldn't be an issue for me. 900º is a different matter entirely 'though.

As I said, you're a lucky bugger given that you were already used to it. Having not driven a real car since the '90s, my only reference has been my trusty ol' wheel. It's in my monkey DNA now.

Dang. OK, part of it seems to be cleared up, but I still await info on changing the DoR on a G29 manually.

Also waiting to see if PD allows one's chosen setting to "stick" in a race, across races and perhaps even across cars. We need these options, IMHO.

The Mazda Atenza race on Blue Moon Bay is hilarious, they're the last cars you expect to be wrangling round a speedway... However, it's hella fun. I had a win yesterday, only because no one shoved me up the arse on the last corner. One great moment, which I didn't photograph, was four wide going into the first corner and I naturally came off second best. Stuck right in the middle. The slipstream battles are great and everyone moves around the track to find the right line. Driving pleb cars may seem boring but when everyone else is in the same car, the battles are very intense.

I love it. From last place to first place, everyone's got a fair shot at winning.

Whoever has the most patience, finds the right line, and doesn't get rammed into usually wins.

Have to say, after loosing a whole bunch of progress in the single player stuff due to the joke that is online only saving.. I've kinda been burnt on GT Sport.

Livery editor and Sport mode are good fun, but what's the point in wasting time with the single player stuff if your progress just randomly gets wiped? It isn't fun the first time due to the horrible AI, it's less racing more puzzle

Did you guys download the free DLC scapes? Once i realized they were offered i downloaded the 9gb thing but even after restarting the game they are still blocked off telling me to go to PSN to download them but when i go there it already says "purchased". Any ideas?

So it looks like the dailies will become weeklies after all...

:(

I cant stand to race on Kyoto/Nurb/Oval anymore.

I may be wrong but I think I saw somewhere that those races will be changed every Tuesdays. If that holds true, watch for server maintenance later today and see if they update them!

Does the game need an update "new download" to update daily races just about to start a glitch last time I lost 24h race because of it

And does anyone no what time the update came out in the UK last time?
