I would be surprised if PD would ban people for that, sure you were banned from GT6?

I was actually thinking about using this glitch today, even though I don't need the money or anything.
I think i was banned from online, maybe it was for another thing(i modded my save for the game to get unlimited money and cars i couldn't get normally.)

One day is barely enough time to get one car dialed in, qualify and run a few races imo. Wish they had went to every 3 days or something. The longer distance races are a great idea and I guess the races may rotate back thru but still...
Here's the way I see it. The FIA and Polyphony events are major events, the kind where in real life competitors have more practice. But the daily events are more like club event, the kind where competitors get a short practice and 1-2 races that at the end of the day no one really cares about the results. That's one of the reasons I think they should change daily, because then it makes those daily event more like club events.

Ideally most of the daily events will be with fixed setups. This would mean people can just focus on the racing without having to dial a car in. But even with an open set I think it there is a good thing about changing daily. It forces you to make a choice. Will you spend more time in development to dominate just a couple of races or will you just jump in after a shorter (more realistic) amount of time and enjoy racing?

You see in a perfect imaginary game I always tried to imagine a way where practice time could also be limited in a way that everyone could only have the same amount of practice that would be more similar to the real world. Unfortunately I can't imagine how this is possible to implement in a game but rotating tracks daily is a nice step towards that. Don't say shuffle racing, the thought of it makes my skin crawl.

I exploited my way to 400 cars and $50million and didn't get banned. I suspect it was something else.
I don't think someone can get banned for doing something like this.
This is neither a hack nor a glitch in order to overdo it. You just "race" for hours and claim your rewards.

I can't imagine the need to do this, credits and mileage are so easy to accumulate in this game and I passed the point where there was anything I wanted to buy a long time ago. I pretty much bought everything I really wanted on the first day, now I'm at the point where I'm buying cars I don't want just to work towards a silly achievement. I actually appreciate how easy it is to get stuff, I hated the grind in the old games and in this one you get everything you need just by playing the game normally. On that note I can't imagine why they would punish people for doing this, the only thing it gets you at the end of the day is fake e-inches but you'll always know you didn't achieve them. This is one of those things that I see as only being negative like that old cheat code that gave you everything but after you had it you decide to delete your save and start over because you realise you actually enjoy playing the game.

They are not racing for hours. They only do one lap to come last. They are simply leaving their car parked for hours. PD could have avoided this very easily with a minimum participation requirement where you must complete a minimum percentage of the race to get a payday just like real life. What they are doing here would be the equivalent of a real racing team turning up to an event and pitting after the first lap just to bring it out for the final lap so they can get paid by the promoters. There are NASCAR teams that do this but even they must complete a minimum amount of the race before they park the car.

My guess is the Countach will come as part of a Vintage DLC. It wouldn't have any cars to race against currently so I imagine they would be creating a class of cars it would fit into.

Probably just the old model. No indication of it coming to GTS then.

I think you should check this out :

For those who wondering "where is the Countach?" I already took some screenshots of it :

Are Gr.3 races ever open? For the past few days I haven't been able to a join a single one. Or I enter and when matchmaking occurs I get an error. This is really disappointing because these are my favorite races.

For those who may not know you can get the Fittipaldi EF7 for free by getting all gold at Brands Hatch in Circuit Experience!

The prize roulettes are randomized. Even if the EF7 was guaranteed to be in the Brands Hatch prize spin, that doesn't mean you'll certainly receive one, as it's still a randomized on which one you'll get.

Great news people!

"From October 31, we will be updating the Daily Race event content every day.
We also plan on adding long distance events into the mix to provide more fun content for our players.

We await your participation in the Daily Events!"

This ruined the whole sport mode. I have limited time every night and now i have no chance to compete. It's a joke.
And why the hell did they take away tuning!! The best part with weekly was that you had time to practice and learn the tracks and above all the fun part with tuning. Now its ****.

What? Why do you seem to think you are forced to take part in every race? You are allowed to miss out on sport races...

I know, but the thing is when you just have one or two hours a night to compete and they switch tracks every day you end up last all the time. The other and more important part was the tuning, extremely fun and interesting but now its gone...

Yea I actually like the daily rotation much better. There are certain tracks I am either terrible at or I haven't become completely familiar with yet. So its nice that I don't have to wait a whole week to compete in Sport if the current track/class offerings aren't a good match up for me.

The reason I put so much emphasis on that is because I just got promoted to B SR but my DR is still low. I can be both more competitive and SAFER if I am on a track/car combo I am familiar with.

Also to add to the above. I work 5 days a week and only really get to play late nights for a couple hours when I am home from work. I like this setup more for the reasons above. Advice: If its a setup your not familar with do what I do. Instead of racing in Sport. Practice the setup in Arcade or in an open lobby. So when the next time it rolls around you will be ready!

I don't see how the switch to daily changes makes you more likely to do badly? If anything it's more open because everybody has less practice with each car/track combo.

Everyone with less practice means less familiarity with the track/car combination which usually means more carnage as well.

This is exactly the problem. From day one of last weeks schedule until yesterday, everyday marked an improvement in the quality of the racers and the races. Day one was amateur hour, now everyday is gonna be amateur hour.

For me the change to daily roatation ensures I will come back to play each day instead of just a couple of times a week. As for removing the tuning aspect I'm also quite happy with that. As someone with just a couple of hours a night to play I want to spend as much of that time as possible on track rather than tuning although I can see how some would feel differently and it wouldn't bother me if it was allowed

They took away tuning just like they added tuning. I'm sure it will come and go as some people liked fixed set racing and others like tuning.

But in the context of daily rotation no tuning makes sense for people like you. In a fixed set you can quickly get up to speed while you are qualifying and go straight in a race after you have found your pace. With a fixed set us people who might only have a couple of hours of race time can enjoy daily rotation.

Still as i have said in other threads I think there should be a calendar of events of the daily races so people can see what event they would prefer and can organise themselves and prepare for the open set days.

In addition to this I think the 3 events should be treated in the same way events are in real life. I think the tracks could stay fixed for the week but each day the cars or class are changed. Like that in the first 6 days of the week Gr4 and Gr3 can be rotated between the tracks so that on each day you have either a Gr3 or Gr4 event at one of the 3 tracks and on the 7th day Gr3 and Gr4 would be at 2 of the tracks. All the other slots would be randomised. That way the week would be similar to a real racing weekend where Gr3 or Gr4 might be the feature and there would be supporting events all at the same track. Then if the calendar showed us what was on and when in advance we could prepare for the combos we like best.

This is exactly the problem. From day one of last weeks schedule until yesterday, everyday marked an improvement in the quality of the racers and the races. Day one was amateur hour, now everyday is gonna be amateur hour.
Not for me, my worst race of the week was my last race at Kyoto. That whole race was just a free for all with constant bumping and dive bombs. I think GTS is starting to reach a tipping point and people will blame this change because it is happening at the same time but from what I have seen the driving standards seem to be dropping and it is contagious.

I think driving standards will work themselves out over time. I haven't seen the game reward reckless driving so the carnage should reduce as skill levels rise or consistently poor drivers simply give up and stop playing all together

I saw this picture last night and had an idea, didn't know where to drop it so here it is

What tipping point?
