Just out of curiosity, can someone post the mileage store update?
Or easily list some of the highlights!? Thanks

8 new wheel styles, but various colour options brings the total to 16, they forgot to change the price so still 100cr, one new driver pose, 14 new colours, everything else we have seen before.

Thanks man!
And no new car? But at least I can buy all new wheels then :D

I just finished an endurance race in one of the driving challenges, got 1st place, and I was greeted with the dreaded "your game has not been saved, system maintenance, bla bla"

I just put my PS4 in rest mode without exiting GTS. I'm gonna be super pissed off if that didn't save.. it was a 30 min race!! -__-

As Civics go it does look pretty cool and purposeful but these 'boy racer' cars are not my thing at all.

We must be due 5 SEMA Gran Turismo Award winning cars at this stage. Does it actually mean anything for the games anymore though?

If it helps anyone, since the last update last week or so (can't remember) I've had to turn the DS4 sensitivity down from 5 to 0, they've really bumped it so the setting needs reducing.

I have a question. I've looked into the FIA series and every time I go it says the race entry doesn't open until midnight / 1 AM. Is that the same for everyone? It said that in the 1st round and again when I checked last night. There's no way I can work all day then stay up to race in the middle of the night.

Just realized..

Matching in Sport Mode is too wide spread. If i manage to qualify / reach top5 its rather easy to finish the race there, but if i drop to 10-15 its near impossible to recover due to dirty/ erratic drivers. Have to work my way to sr/A and hope this ends..
Its still a crapshoot.. i start 7th at srA but driver ratings are always D-Bs throughout field and sr B-S. So theres still half a field of punters out there

Still having fun though. Fun passing back those that stole my race.

1st turn interlagos. 7th punted to 16th. Get back to around 10th or so

Made it online for a few Sport races last night, but quickly regretted it. Started inside the top 5 in all races, but found myself being used as a barrier in the first corner every time. What can you do when players don't even brake for the corner and just gamble on coming out of the carnage ahead? Was kind of hoping the kamikaze drivers might have moved on to something else!

It's frustrating, but worse still, is seeing the player causing the carnage go unpunished while your rating takes a hit.:banghead:

Since getting my SR of "S" I've always been in Sport races with SR "S" racers. Maybe it's more open when you're at a lower rank, but for me it's been fine. Get your SR up to "S" and it seems to be what you're after.

Interesting...
Tomahawk X comes with Racing Soft tyres as default, but it's really twitchy. Switching to Racing Hard makes the car drivable.
Chaparral 2X comes with Racing Super Soft tyres as default, but it still has bad grip. Switching to Racing Soft makes the car drivable.

I am too in SR S.There are a lot of dirty drivers there too that get unpunished and a lot of clean drivers that get punished. The first problem:its too easy to get the S.
Also the penalty system is the same in all SR "classes".Going from "A" to "S" is not going to fix problems that exit in the system.Going up you are just propably gonna race against "less" dirty drivers.

I actually have found that the races in S class are worse. People are focused to much on getting thier rank up and not on learning how to get around a track in hard competition without hitting eachother. So far the best races i have had by far were in a class sr rating.

I have to agree.
Worst thing of all is the last lap, where people feel they have nothing to lose and you can get easily pushed out of the track at the last turn.
One of the downsides of any SR system is that you can "bank" incidents. If you've had positive SR a whole race you can afford an incident or two on the last lap with no effect on your overall SR. The more devious racers will take advantage of this.

That 911 GT3 RS on Maggiore was a nightmare.... with a DS4.

With TC1, the oversteer is on half the racetrack too hard to contain, because of the DS4 trigger not precise enough. With TC2 you feel like you lose 1 second at every corner exit, the engine stalls endlessly, I haven't tried TC3/TC4/TC5 but it must be glorious. So during the race I was constantly switching these, and it's not even satisfying.

I claimed the 18th place on that race (was 12th when I went a bit far in a corner and another guy helped me going in the sand) right after an astononishing race on Alsace reversed when I finished 5th after starting 13th (one poor lap of qualifying) and got the 5th place at the last corner.

The GT3 RS is a beast, really fun to drive (drift would suit better), but to be driven perfectly it requires precision in the throttle that the game just does not give at the moment to the DS4. But really I think it's all about re-calibrating the traction control to fix it. Please PD, fix this!

I watched some livestream last night of an elite player using a G29 and even he had a difficult time with the car and spun several times. Must be a real handful for average players with a DS4 trying to be smooth and consistent.

It made a lot more sense with the old format, but with GT Sport I can't see how any of them will actually have any relevance. It's sad that they've been promising them for such a long time and we are now having to deduce that they most likely won't appear. Ah PD.

Does anyone else here play this game on 2 consoles?

I’ve recently been playing this on both my home network (evenings) and at work (lunchtime) and have noticed that my save file would often “fall behind” on a particular console. The worst case was about a week ago where I lost a full set of Mission Challenge progress.

After every session I save the game manually from the main menu, and since it’s an online save it should be synced up in theory.

Anyone got advice on making sure that my save is always updated no matter where I play?

I switched my Cayman for Subaru Gr4 and after few races, my DR upgraded into B from D on today's daily. So easy to drive.

I REALLY like your setup! Got any pics of your full set up and/or more info on the rig like what TV/rig you're using?

Sport mode needs 24 players, or else whatever position you start in you're likely staying in it the whole race. There need to be an option for no tuning, as those qualifying in the top 5-8 have a tune that gives shaves several seconds off lap time. They are not better drivers than D or C drivers, they have a good tune and better pedals and better car(usually using best car in class). No one seems to play for fun or the challenge, everyone trying to dive-bomb and cut corners. Gr.3 is funner but many dirty that can ruin a 10 lap endurance race.
