From your personal experience with the controls and driving physics, what are the biggest differences between PC2 and GTSport?
I feel like in PC2 that I can fine tune everything to a more minute setting. Fine tune the car setups, the controller settings. With GT Sport, it feels more arcade (in comparison), so the game feels much more accessible to me. I think part of that is the polish of the UI, the cars, understanding descriptions, a little more hand holding. Hard to explain. PC2 feels more hardcore and is of a bigger scope than what I am needing or desire. GT Sport immediately feels comfortable as soon as I am on the track. The cars respond as I "hope" they would. I have never driven ANY of the cars in the game other than the Mustang GT (because I own one), so I have no idea if the cars control like the real thing. I have never taken my Mustang on a track, so I have no idea if it controls like my car in the game. Then again, I am using a controller, so driving the Mustang in the game around the track feels nothing like driving my car in real life. :)

Everything just feels good, feels put together. With PC2, I feel like I am piecemeal everything to conform to how I drive, requiring me to adjust settings more than I would like to or have time to. With the controls in GT Sport, I don't feel like I am babysitting each car with each new event.

Anyone else get their safety rating destroyed by bad drivers on today’s Manafacturer Series Race at Mount Panorama?

Qualified 4th, finished 15th (last place)
I did have a S rating for safety, down to a C in one race...

I rear ended a guy once when I got rear ended, the rest of the incidents were cars smashing into the back of me trying to rush into the tight sections way too fast. And as always, the further back in the pack, the more I got smashed.

To go down to a C the GT systems must have deemed them my fault to put me down 3 grades. Surely if it was me over braking I would not have qualified 4th.

Seriously annoyed. I’ll stop ranting now.

I agree wholeheartedly with Bogie 19th assessment. I have a G29 setup with Playseat (and before that G27 with same Playseat). I have been playing GT 6 and now GT Sport for about 4 years (mostly league racing). Just within the last three weeks, I purchased Project Cars 2 and started league racing. (I had also played the original Project Cars a bit but not online). I love all the adjustability in PC2 with the wheel, brake pressure, and graphic user interface/HUD (display preferences). With PC2, I can actually drive from in the car. Gran Turismo, I have to drive from bumper view because the in-car view is not adjustable. I bought GTS with the VR because I thought it was ready to go - it’s advertised as such but in reality there’s only a demo mode. What a marketing scam! The VR would make it worth it (by far) if you could race with 16 other people but that may be years away. The driving physics of PC2 are drastically different in my opinion but I’m still undecided as to whether I like it more than the arcadish GTS. I’ve been told by someone I trust that iRacing is the best physics-wise but I haven’t taken that plunge. -Rob

R5
Sooooooooooooooooooooo Spotify?

I was not talking about Spotify, I was talking about the feature from GT6 where you can use your own music and created playlists stored on your PS3, select them from within the GT6 options menu and play it in-game. My comment was not meant to be taken seriously as it was a play on words with the tweet. I have enjoyed the default music on GTS so far.

It's possible that we may not get some actually playable content... but I'm sure Lewis would love see his cars (Zonda, Shelby etc.) immortalized in Gran Turismo. Or at least I hope so!

I need that Zonda in my life.

And It has a manual gearbox! By the way, I'm surprised by the lack of Pagani's in GTS, even more so if we consider that there are two great models (Revolucion, 760 Kiryu) sitting at Bingo Sports, 30 minutes away from PD headquarters.

C'mon, don't talk about reason and logic with PD. They never have

It is adjustable! - It may not be as adjustable as PC2 (Dont know because i dont have it)! When you pause the game go to detailed settings > Adjust Cockpit view - there you can adjust height and distance (Front-Back).

The adjustments are so trivial though that it doesn't really matter much. And if I understand this topic correctly, while you can adjust where your eyes sit through the adjustments you can make in-game, you cannot adjust the Field of View, meaning you cannot adjust how wide your vision is without changing your position. This is the problem since even if you can adjust your position, your peripherals are very limited and have next to no vision on your sides, if at all

I'm guessing it's more related to licensing, as they have to renew it basically for every new project. That being said, it's not unlikely Paganis are added later in the game and are currently made/refurbished for GTS.

For these specific models though, I feel Kaz has the final word on the cars that are added to the game, and it seems that most of the time, additions are made because he had a crush on that or that car. (Most of the cars that are on the GT games covers are actually cars he owns himself). So, he might even drive past Bingo Sports everyday, or check it out on weekends, say for, maybe, future personal acquisitions, if these Zondas didn't appeal to him, they probably wouldn't be in the game - at least not as a priority addition.
Also, it seems the trend at PD is to have a roster of "first issues", rather than the beefed up versions of the cars, but, who knows.

That being said, Bingo Sports is amazing; I randomly stumbled upon it last year, a Huayra was parked outside, and inside they had Gr 5 cars and super rare Ferraris and BMWs; just :bowdown::bowdown:

Hence why I said "not as adjustable ad PC2!"

Does PC2 auto turn the drivers head towards the apex during turns?

I forget what game did that, but I'd totally play in the cockpit view all of the time (despite the low field of view) if the first person camera would just pivot towards the apex.

Or they could just fix the right analog stick and the head controls for real analog movement. I drive like that all of the time on GTA, using the right stick to visually track the apex while cornering.

Not sure about PC2, but PC1 definitely had that view. It was carried over from NFS: Shift 2

I'm pretty sure the car in the bottom right is a S14 Silvia, the one above looks like the original GT40 which I guess will be the 20mil car of this update.

It's that time of the month again, he posts the shadows you guess the cars:

No way is #7 a Toyota. The windshield pretty much tells us its a GTR Super GT

Looks more like an R33 GT-R to me.

Is it the first time the E30 M3 comes to GT? I don't recall seeing it in GT5, and I've not played GT6 .

What's the one in the very middle of the middle row? Looks like a race car of some kind.

We need someone to post a version with high contrast
