I mean... Regardless of if the sources rumor was true or not, I would not be surprised at all if Spa returned, considering how well it was modeled in past iterations. In fact, similar with Le Mans, I’m more surprised that it hasn’t returned yet.

Just bought my 3rd p1 gtr :embarrassed:

Still on the fence about GTS. How does it compare to GT6 in terms of physics?
Lol a game for an 8th gen console will definitely have an edge over a game from 7th gen when it comes to those things. There may be some exceptions but it's mostly the case there.

These street tracks, for the single player missions or what ever, are pointless. The AI is so bad you don't have to even know the track layout or have any strategy... because there are no gravel traps or grass to spin out on and get a little beached you have zero worries.

I made two extra stops on the GT3 Endurance race there and lapped second place. It's boring and pointless. Even if you go out of your way on a bad strategy, at the back and try and run as cleanly as possible driving nowhere near the limit... you'll still end up first, easily by the half way mark....

Guys i want to build a website for gtsport user stats, does anyone have info of whether they have an public API or something to get user data?

Well, anyone interested in maximizing their credits influx would aim for the clean race bonus (50% extra), which obviously requires very clean driving no matter how the track is built.

Almost impossible though because the AI have literally no clue how to drive, you'll get brake checked in the straights and on corner exit where they simply wont accelerate.
My understanding of the clean bonus is that it's only for contact with another car, not the track

It's more the other way around. Wall contact, or off track runs will trash a clean race bonus in a heartbeat, but you can make contact with the AI, and still get it. I had an instance at Le Sarthe, running 200+mph, and plowed into the back of a 250, when it changed lanes unexpectedly. Huge impact, but no wall contact, and stayed on track. Got a clean race bonus at the end.

ah ok!
That'd still be tricky given how often the AI put me into the walls at Toyko

give it a rest VeeDoubleU <yawn>

did you really just make a GTPlanet account purely to like loads of Kie's posts and then try to belittle me? loooool

What I was saying was completely valid. We shouldn't take stuff as 100% confirmed because of someone saying so, no matter their popularity, especially when that person isn't even the direct source.

A GTPlanet admin who interviews Kaz and is invited to FIA Events as Media Personnel has much more credibility however, especially as Jordan was seemingly using himself as the direct source.

If you wanted me to give it a rest, then you wouldn't have quoted a day old post to get my attention :)

That would be Ray Tracing, which is far away from being something possible on a console,PS5 won't have that.

Ray Tracing is not the only technique for self reflection.

Several other techniques permits simulate this like Screen Space Reflection which is used in Unreal Engine, Forza or, one of the best implementations so far in driving games, Driveclub.

Literally had the exact same situation 3 days ago: flying down the Mulsanne 320+ km/h and suddenly this Gulf livery 250 GTO switches to my lane for absolutely no reason. Punted right into him, finished the race, got Clean Race

It seems like the game can somewhat calculate if the impact was your or AI's fault

Hitting the wall or going off track still voids your Clean Race tho

Yeah i know about KUDOS, i wanted to build a better i think its missing a lot of data that can be shown.
Also i dont get why kudos doesnt count my latest wins, they are in brackets ().
Gran Turismo server also stored this value for this profile. The discrepancy reason is uncertain, but if you erased or lost your saved game, that number is likely excludes races prior to the deletion or incident. If you played the demo, it may not include the races done during the demo period.
It sounds like thats the way GT has the info stored when he collects it from them.
