Maaannmm, of it's NISMO heavy content, I'll faint(I won't really, but my eyes may pop out their sockets...[not really, but...]). :sly:

This is based on nothing but i think the next update might be Endurance based, maybe some GT Cars from Blancpain(ACC doesn't have exclusive rights to those)

I said this in the speculation thread but I'm willing to bet more Blancpain tracks and the Team RJN car (plus other participants) are coming soon. I know having a gt sticker on a car doesn't mean it's coming to the game but producing a series about how the drivers use GT Sport to train while not having all the tracks from the series they're practicing for, let alone the car, is a bit silly.

Thing is(I'm just rehashing what we all know since GT5P- current), we just don't know PD's focus. They made the Gr.1/Gr.3/Gr.4 fantasy cars, for the FIA races. Real world tracks were in short supply.

Let's say we got official circuits on GT Sport debut. If I go by the 2016 Blancpain GT Endurance calendar, we'd have:

Monza
Silverstone
Paul Ricard
Spa
Nurburgring 24H

It would not have sufficed most players, but having real tracks(without ToD/weather transition) just may have, for Sport Mode.

When the updates came, the addition of Campaign Mode/GT League, may have yielded more of the real circuits from the Blancpain GT Series(I'm deleting the original tracks for this purpose) like:

Hungaroring
Misano
Catalunya
Nurburgring Sprint
Brands Hatch GP

This would have completed an official FIA list of real tracks(maybe add Zolder, from the 2017 season), through this year. It's going to be interesting how the updates progress from January.

If we add the 2019 Intercontinental GT Challange calendar, we have:

Bathurst
Laguna Seca
Spa(hypothetically, already in)
Suzuka(already in)
Kyalami

as new tracks.

We already have Bathurst as well, unless I'm misinterpreting your post.

Sure. I left Bathurst out, of the game completely, from the 2016 Blancpain Endurance Series calendar. Added it as a "new" track update, to line up with theoretical Blancpain Endurance tracks for next year, if you get my meaning.

"I'm looking forward to the update coming this month!" "Please add classic DTM race cars whenever you can!"
Kaz replied -- "The organizers of DTM is actually not very cooperative with us... They want us to make a DTM-specialized game if there's be any DTM cars."

Not sure if it's real

I would probably think this is real... DTM isnt in Forza??? Ever?

Some organisations think they 'shtick' is worth a global audience when their neighboring countries dont give a crap.

Let's be realistic... it feels like only F1 is big enough to warrant a really major title?

I feel like rally does not see in numbers enough and Gran Turismo was always been a simulator for everyone not just Germans.

And now its just Audi A5 vs. BMW M4 vs. AML Vantage?

Nah to that.

Truth to this is Ian Bell mentioning Virgin Australia Supercars would have let them add The V8s if, they added all the tracks. He said VASC were asking too high a price. So, only the old 2013 V8 Supercar is in PC2.

I can only think VASC are in Forza, due to the long time XBOX association with Mark Skaife.

I think when sporting bodies add stipulations like that it just means they dont want to be in the game.

There's limited appeal of V8 Supercars outside of Australia... hell there's limited appeal INSIDE Australia!

There's also many many many racetracks in Australia that have no kind of audience or recognition even among Australians!

I think every sporting body thinks they're big enough to carry a single title and yet we know thats untrue.

Why arent we even seeing Indycar or Nascar titles when at one time, we did.

I think it's true, no DTM presence in Forza or Project Cars. Instead of being in popular games like Forza or GT, they want to stay almost anonymous on a PC sim? Raceroom is probably a very good sim but the audience is on consoles. Many of us know the Super GT championship thanks to GT.

Honestly, this sucks, the ego these guys have is annoying, instead of promoting a sports category to a new public(who haven't seen it that much) in a popular franchise they close themselves thinking the public will come to them,it reeks of the stereotype old man CEO "i'm too good to promote myself in this videotoy stuff"

When was the last time we ever saw DTM cars....oh wait there's TC2.

I wonder if this has something to do with the Super GT-DTM merger.

But this sucks. There goes the chances of seeing Super GT and DTM cars in action on GT Sport.

i think it's similar to why BTCC aren't on all consoles.

Just seems like PD knew about Class 1 regulations and wanted to get some DTM cars in for Gr.2. Kind of a weird one with them joining with Super GT regulations. Maybe something will give in the near future.

Edit: Just saw Tony's post.

VASC is actually grown. It's a world renowned category. Proof are drivers from MASCAR to GT to Indy, wanting to get a drive in one. Many want to do Bathurst in a V8. I'm sure you've seen a ISA driver win the recent Aussie Driver Search. Also, Simona De Silverstein and now Abbie Eaton from Grand Tour may be getting a seat in Super 2.

There may be many tracks overseas people don't know of, but Phillip Island, Mount Panorama, Adelaide, Surfers, Albert Park, are world known. Now, the temporary Newcastle Street Circuit, is on the map.

I only question this because I question Kaz actually answering direct messages to fans on twitter.
