Longer races help with stars, too.
Lancer or WRX at Panorama is alright. 4WD makes things easier.
So true, they do make things a lot easier. I found myself struggling with the Gr3 endurance race on MP up untill a couple of months ago, then I decided to give up.
Now I signed a contract with Nissan so I was practicing with the GT-R's a lot the last couple of weeks, so I decided to give the GT-R Gr.3 a chance and took it to MP. Laptimes were a little bit better then before (I always used the 458). So I decided to test a few more Gr.3 cars there. First up was the Mercedes, little bit faster then the GT-R but also a bit more nervous, but I was getting used to the track more and more, next the Porsche and BMW M6. Consistently lapping faster but by that time my heart was screaming for the 458.
So I loaded up the 458 and did a couple of laps, bamm, fastest laptimes of the day, almost 3 seconds a lap faster then my previous times with the 458.
In the end I did the endurance, winning by over a minute to the number 2 who when on new tyres gained on me very quickly but he had to pit much more often.
After this I decided to test a couple of Gr.4 cars on MP and man, after driving it with Gr3 cars, any Gr4 feels very easy to handle, no mess ups at the dipper, they all just felt very stable, again my fastest times were with the Porsche and Ferrari, but I'm using those cars a lot so I'm used to their handling.
