"I'm looking forward to the update coming this month!" "Please add classic DTM race cars whenever you can!"
Kaz replied -- "The organizers of DTM is actually not very cooperative with us... They want us to make a DTM-specialized game if there's be any DTM cars."

Not sure if it's real
I don't want this to be true...:nervous:

I sort of feel like PD can get away with a generic 'Kaz designed' wide bodied Audi S5 vs. AMG C63 coupe vs. BMW M4 with test version livery and the DTM organisation can get bent. Stick in cages and a PD designed race interior.

The community does its own thing. Slap them in Gr.2 and let fly with their own set of races not called DTM. Maybe DRM? Fitting.

Maybe other categories were uncooperative as well. We didn't really need the Megane Gr.4, if PD already had the Trophy in mind. There is the Megane TCR that was in development last year, to be ready for the 2018 season.

Now, if even PD are having a tough time getting official race cars, I'm all for fantasy ones.

I purchased the 1966 Shelby Cobra yesterday.

What do I think about it?...

...It already has roughly 350 miles on it.

The sound... oh my god, THE SOUND! This is likely one of the best sounding vehicles in the game. I'm not sure if it's accurate, but wow does it sound mean! With the suspension tuned properly and a nice set of numbers thrown at a limited slip differential, this bad son of a gun is ready to race against Gr.4 and Gr.3 cars, much like the Ford GT40, which rewards massive prize money might I add.

If you're looking for a nice car and you don't know what to buy, this is the answer.

Good stuff. Surprised there's not given the same stories for AMG.

They probably put the Nissan first because it was the most surprising moment of the championship, first time a car runs out of fuel in a GT Event, the high stakes of having a team with all the Regional Champions it's great drama for a video.

Not just about that, but overall. AMG get lots of billing this time with Lewis Hamilton reference lap, the GT S being the cover car, the W08 being the only F1 car in game. It was also AMG's 50 anniversary, the year GT Sport debuted. AMG have have a strong racing history as well. Maybe something is in the works with the AMG represented players. We'll see.

It must be said that Nissan is the most involved manufacturer with PD right now,i've seen comments from the drivers who said there are other manufacturers interested in the project so we might see more of them next year but right now Nissan is the big partner in these events, yes it's ironic to see so much Mercedes in the game but having Nissan as the main partner, but i am optimistic we will see more of Mercedes next year they are very involved in the Virtual world and Hamilton is the "Maestro" of Gran Turismo.

The car is soo difficult to drive, all it wants to do is slide.

Think I'll start collecting the Gr.3 Road Cars. I'm liking the STI.

I'm surprised you dont have the full collection already (as in ONE example in a random colour... if you want all colors then fair enough).

Tbey were 2,500 before, then 4,000 and now 5,000!

Ok if you're at 99,000 points....

In regards to DTM rights and licensing, do they still hold the rights to the old Alfa 155, Mercedes 190, Opel/Vauxhall, etc from the late 90s and early 2000s?

We dont know how the licensing is set up... is it time based or is it more likely, console generation based?

Rights on ps3 would be over.

Restarted my game multiple times. Never collected them all.

Time based usually, and it would depend on the terms that they agreed on, not the console generation.

It sounds really good, but I have to detune it a bit and SS tires, to drive it absolutely on the edge. If you wanna talk about nice sound, just try the Ferrari 512 BB, sounds amazing, and the off throttle from high rev is just crazy.

I just heard the Sir-Mix-A-Lot song Testarossa for the first time in a long time, and it made me wonder if that car has ever been in any Gran Turismo game?

I like the new content after not playing for a few months but the issue I have right now is that after one rotation of weekly races we are right back to group 3 at Maggiore and group 4 at Tokyo. Not exactly a breath of fresh air.
