If this is real...
Just realised the letters were screwed up. I saw that post and commented.

I meant those particular AMG cars from past GTs. The new ones, I don't expect to make it in.

Uh, I see.
I like the CLK DTM.

...That reminds me, what will the 155 2.5 V6 TI be?
PD had captured the data of the car, didn't they?

Well, if it ran in the European Touring Car Championship, might not be a problem. I think it was ITR(?). I remember E30s ran in the ITR/ITC years back.

Saw my uncle today as it's Boxing Day. He's involved with some community work at Silverstone and he told me some pretty good news about GT Sport ;)

It'll never include the track? :embarrassed:

I kind of agree with both. Silverstone would be lovely after Spa, Laguna Seca and a pile of other better tracks that get less attention in terms of stated desire, Circuit Gille Villeneuve, Mosport, Watkins Glen, Sonoma. Monaco would even be more desired, but sure, for free (padding out a very thin game on release), I’ll take it.

Keeping with the trend up to this point it’s more than likely tracks like Spa & Silverstone will be included sometime in the next few months,
since the pattern has been to reintroduce previously created tracks, I can only guess that we will get one more real world track that hasn’t been seen before and a few more new fictional tracks.

I don't mind the track being included, I just would never drive it in a game any more than I have to. Silverstone is well-documented in my post history as by far my least favorite race track.

TL;DR: If it was an American course, it would be made fun of regardless of history. But because it's European it gets a free pass.

No free pass from me. It’s an unremarkable bore with only history and country of racing importance/heritage that keep it part of the motor sports conversation.

Not so sure about this. The most famous race tracks I can think of are "boring;" like Le Mans or Monza. A rich motorsports history adds just as much worth to a circuit that an entertaining flow does.

Personally I guess I halfway agree, GT6 was my first foray into Silverstone and I find it to be uninspiring. But it's still a legend of a circuit, so it has its place in GTS, and I welcome it. I probably wouldn't do any Sport Mode races there, but I would give it an honest shot and learn it to the best of my ability, like I did with Catalunya (GTS was my first time there)

Now if you ask me, I would rather have Laguna Seca or Spa.

I've been assaulted by Silverstone since the F1GP days and recently its been in every Forza? Turn10 even kept the old layout well into Forza 5??

Its not that great new or old but its acceptable IMO, I've grown to be able to race well on it.

I dislike a bunch of F1 tracks including Suzuka... I tolerate them but its not like outright hate reserved for say... COTA... or Yas Marina...

Just cause GT filmed at a track doesn't mean it'll be included. I'm still waiting for Thruxton to appear after it was used in GT4 Prologue's support DVD

Silverstone is kind of old news if you ask me. I mean Sony would be nuts to create this video and then not include the track at some point.

well.... that's include on BES schedule and RJN this year race on there so... no brainer not filming that.

Quite disappointed at how many people believed this. People should think for themselves, and not just believe everything some random person says. Wait for official announcements.

My dad's brother's sister-in-law's daughter once did a thing at Silverstone and I can exclusively confirm the track's being reconverted into an airfield to improve the racing.

So i switch on my ps4 tonight. And the game freezes on the lobby loading screen. I try rebooting and using different car and different room. Don't know what is going on. I have tried at least 6 times now???

A road safety ad featuring the Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz Jr is currently being broadcast in Spain tv, promoting "to race in GT Sport and not on the road"

Hmmm, I wonder why he'd be promoting it instead of Ordonez...
