Don't forget the Scirocco and the original Gr.4 Megane! M4 might also count if you take into consideration the Super 2000 BMWs of old...
The Megane and Scirocco are killing me. It's so close to what we could have gotten. TCR came out in 2015. I wonder what the discussion was, when PD decided to do the FF Gr.4 cars.

The Megane NGTC may not have been available. This is a road car with body kit, to gauge interest. Plus, a TCR Megane wasn't out until recently. There are only a handful racing in the whole world.

no what kind of GT game is currently available, i personally think there will always something to do ... i dont think i can ever feel bored of playing GT ever...
If you don't like online Sport Mode in GT Sport, it is not worth playing the game because there is nothing there to motivated me to keep playing.
GT Sport is a pretty game and that is all it is, and when it comes to Racing PD forgot to give us good content for offline.

The content is good. It's the finer details that need tuning.
If the content was good many of my many friends on my friend list will be still be playing this game, but they play other games now.
Before GT Sport many of my many friends on my friend list played GT6 just about every day, and that tells me how bad is GT Sport is.
It is going to take something very special, like good content to make me play GT Sport again.

I'm bored with the amount of tuning I can not do. If we were allowed more customisation and IMPROVED AI across all tracks and GT League, many offline players would play more.

Content is different to customisation. If we only had the handful of tracks that came with the game and the original car list, as long as the customisation was there, replay ability increases.

The more content we get, doesn't mean everyone will like it and keep playing the game. It's the details like I said.

Here's a thing: rain. It's going to wear thin with many players. In GT6, it was infinite adjustability to what a player could do. So much replayability, a player didn't have to use all the content available.

I can’t tell you how many die-hard GT5&GT6 friends I lost to GTAV that never came back. This isn’t evidence of anything other than that people change, even the ones you don’t suspect.

Not so long ago I did ask some of my friends on my friends list, why they did not like GT Sports and they all said GTS lacks content and are waiting for the real Gran Turismo game to come.

Talking about tuning when you see hardly any tuners that are active in the GTS tuning forum, well there is something is wrong with this game.

This game has a curated list of great cars and a lot of fun tracks. I’ve played this game since day 1 & still have loads of fun.

I don’t think PD set out to create the best racing video game ever with GT Sport. It was created for the GT obsessive.

You can have great cars in a game but there is not much things to enjoy in GTS, that is why many players and I know some really good die-hard racers that said GTS lacks content and have move on to other games.

What about Scapes and the Livery Editor? Sure they have their limitations, but I've had just as much enjoyment out of those as I've had in racing. One of my wishes for Gran Turismo was to see a Livery Editor in the mould of Forza's, and I'm glad that the one in GT Sport has helped me keep coming back along with the updates and FIA races.

If PD give us better content perhaps you may get more players playing, but the way PD gives us not much every months, players will stay away until we get the real game, even Rain will not bring them back.

Is anyone having 4K issues with GT Sport? My PS4 Pro outputs at 3840 x 2160 normally but when I start the game it changes the entire system to 1920 x 1080. I can't change it back unless I restart the console. Nothing has changed, all same equipment, same settings, it just refuses to play in 4k. Thoughts?

Is it plugged into a HDMI 2.0 port with a HDMI 2.0-compatible cable? If not, that might be the case.

Yes it should be. I've had 4k since release but as of yesterday or the day before it no longer works. And it's only GT with this issue so far.

Edit, seems it's now telling me the system is in 4k whilst actually being in 2k. But will show it correctly when I open the game. Couldn't be like a worn out HDMI cord? I tried a couple with no luck.

Seems like a very strange issue in my opinion.

It is indeed. Just came back to update:

So now I've lost HDR, somehow. No indication it's on anymore. I'm not even sure why it's off I never touched it and it's set to be on. Everything still says 4k but clearly isn't. I've tried turning on Enchanced Mode for the HDMI ports but no luck.

My only guess is either my PS4/HDMI are old or the recent Android TV update did something screwy. But I can't find anything to suggest that.

No problems with the HDR here but because it washes out the in-game colors during streaming I don't use it much.

I have ADSL so streaming is a no-no for me, but the PS4 does not record nor stream in HDR mode. It reverts to standard display. You see HDR on your TV but your streamers see the standard, non-HDR image.

So I don't think HDR should affect your streaming at all. Am I wrong? Or do you have some kind of incorrect equipment setup?

I do record and upload to YouTube and HDR hasn't caused me any problems.

*snip*

So much replayability, a player didn't have to use all the content available.

While both are true, there's a positive catch when it comes to more content: it's more likely to appeal to more people. That's the gamble devs are making by including hundreds of cars, that someone will latch onto even small percentage. Heck, it's what PD's doing by expanding the lineup almost exclusively outside of the main Groups.

I think when starting the stream there is a pop up message from the PS4 system that the HDR may affect the stream quality.. But thanks for your reply, I'll double check my system soon.

Not only did I win my first Sport mode race, I had the fastest lap too! :D Really happy with myself. Just a few years ago I was a terrible driver in video games, always coming in last. Can't wait to see how my Sport journey evolves. I think I'm going to try a Gr. 3 race next (after I find the perfect Gr. 3 car!)

You can tell an awful lot about someone's racecraft by simply doing a sprint race in Gr.3 cars on Dragon Trail Seaside. I've got so many clips I can use to make a montage of terrible GT Sport racers on just Seaside alone to be close to 10+ minutes in length.

Side note: the exhaust sounds from the NSX Gr4 in replay mode need some work. It has this weird, low frequency noise in the file that's super distracting. Anyone else catch this?
