I think when starting the stream there is a pop up message from the PS4 system that the HDR may affect the stream quality.. But thanks for your reply, I'll double check my system soon.

I just uploaded a review of DiRT Rally 2.0 which also has HDR support and you may be right. The colors look totally whacked at times on YouTube.

It's time for the Pike Peak International Hill Climb and once again Gran Turismo is the title sponsor. When will we ever see this track in the game?

Well the track was in GT4....

If Kaz could just have all the tracks they ever released, but available going forward, PD can get my money.... Here take it !!!!!!!

Man the Escort is one of those cars you see in every other game that you really want in GT, like the E30 before.
Yeah, it kills me that PC2 has it in droves, yet it's a classic been missing since Ford debuted in the GT series. We've had the 2002 turbo and GTV for so long, their little buddy, the MkI Escort, is being left out with noone to play with. *sniff*

Has anyone here cleared the X2019 Competition Endurance Race? Can't seem to improve better than 1:37 per lap on Hard tires.

Any advice appreciated; thks.

*still giggling*

GT3 WAS BEST GT DON'T @ ME

GT2 was a buggy, bloaty mess with shiny green windows. GT3 for LYFE. Look: https://www.gtplanet.net/six-mainline-gran-turismo-games-ranked-worst-best/ - La-hoo, sa-her.

Not gonna lie, I think Gran Turismo 4 is the best. It has pretty much everything that GT3 had plus a bunch more content, so nothing was really lost. That link mentions bloat and half-baked features, and I'll agree its biggest issue is the carlist becomes too repetitive in 4, but those weren't really "issues" until GT5.

Plus that game had some of the coolest cars at the time. I knew about Pagani way before my friends did from Need for Speed.

@daan made a blue one, so I haven't yet. I have just made a brown #2 though, because I'm not five in any way.
Pah. They got the bestist and the second bestist the wrong way round. Unless you are using a wheel in which case they are the right way round. GT2 is GT. With a data disc. It's the best. You are number 6.

I'd have to agree. I first played GT3 when I was 5. I love the game. But then I got GT4 soon after. GT4 is and will always be my favorite Gran Turismo!

This exact same argument, word for word, could be made for GT4>GT5. And since GT5 (had) online lobbies, it’s clearly superior.

Personally, I don’t consider GT4 a ‘classic GT’ even though it was on the PS2. It was more of a low-def GT5.

GT3 is the best ‘classic GT’ and GT5 is the best ‘new era GT’ and therefore the overall best GT.

I liked GT6 way better than GT5, mostly because it fixed every problem with GT5.

GT5, in retrospect, is probably the worst game of the series. GT4 isn't a low-def GT5. GT5 is just a semi-HD GT4.

The main reason is that in GT5 and GT6, PD brings all the cars from all regions of Gran Turismo 4. Causing BS like Mazda Miata gets tripled in quantity because they have to contain "Miata", "Eunos Roadster", and "Roadster" variants respectively.

Just had a question in the Undocumented Changes thread(1.40). I hadn't noticed(over a year of tuning the car) the RX-7 FD with rear downforce adjustable option, until today. So, while tuning and painting my E30, I wanted to have a look at the size wheels from the DTM car(18", 16" are stock on the Sport Evo). The article I referenced, had this pic:

I went back to car setup and found this:

Non-adjustable. I'm probably late to the party if this has been noted, but I'm about to check all my road cars with rear spoilers to see what's what. Another weird one...

GT Sport keeps on delivering. Hope they add a lot more cars and tracks. Personaly I would like these as top priority on the game:

Hopefully they add a few cars and tracks that they included in previous GT games as well. Which I think they will but ofc, it takes time and we have to be patient.

I always thought that GT3 was inferior to GT4, ever since I discovered the series when I was about 6. GT4 looked far more appealing to my young eyes as it had a cleaner aesthetic which had a better presentation. GT3 never got my attention in the same way as it didn't look as inviting, even if the gameplay was top notch. But what would I know as a 6 year old. I wasn't able to understand the intricacies of racing yet, I just wanted to drive the cars and GT4 had more of them, and that's all that mattered to me. When I went back to GT3 several years later, I realised just how compelling it was as a racing game. However GT4 has single-handely defined my life as a car enthusiast and that's why I'm still soo attached to it now. It's the game that started it all for me, even if it wasn't the first game I ever played. (That honour goes to Cars)

GT4 was the start of PD's snowplow physics, so it's worse than GT3 in my eyes. Only problem with GT3 was that the rumble strips were like magnets, but that also made for more on-the-ragged-edge TT laps. :D Does anyone remember how good the simulation tires were in GT3? I never used them then, as I was a goofy teenager that wanted to go as fast as possible all the time.

I wouldn't be surprised if those GT7 rumours for the PS5 launch are really just early hints of a Spec. 2.0 re-release of GT Sport with substantial enhancements for PS5 owners. It could sell remarkably well if marketed the right way, and PD / Sony wouldn't have to invest many resources, as opposed to developing a completely new title.
