Considering what this thread has gone through, it's safe to say that GTS needs to make an A++ in terms of expectations.
Daaang straight, especially in grapfix for dem casuals to even be interested. :sly:

Honestly can't wait to see what craaazy PD has been up to. It should be something similar to GT6 in Silverstone, that was pretty cool. :)

On that note, first at these type of events footage is never recorded from the console itself. That means good footage is already discarded.

So it's pretty much pointless to get excited about PD press events?

After that then comes NDAs, meaning that the actual testers can't talk about the game nor have permission to record nor share footage. What we are going to see is shaky 30 seconds long phone videos, with vertical orientation, recorded in a very noisy area.

Disappointed before anything has been confirmed

And if we go by what always happens at PD hosted events, then there will also be an official trailer that's clearly CGI, lots of pictures of Kaz posing with GTRs (9:1 than about the actual game) and people will quote Amar on neogaf about hats being blown off and shedding tears of manliness (despite him not attending any events).

Yup definitely the same old boring PD...

Our hope is that one GTP user attends and just breaks the NDA. Don't give your nicknames to PD

But yet you want to see clips of it? On top of that you hope someone from GTP breaks a NDA?

It is a situation that can literally interrupt you're inputs on a game,
Indeed. I always prefer a version with the better framerate because of it affecting my input in a game.

it should have been the first thing they optimized.
It probably was with GT5,but changed their mind overtime with the development to prefered eye candy and it paid off,but not by much. GT6 I know didn't paid off as they still choose to do the past actions they did with GT5.

Don't forget endless videos of people trying out the demo, followed by many comments criticizing the driving of said people who don't even play Driving/racing sims in the first place (Because telling someone they suck for the 1000th time will suddenly put a stop to that)

$10 says this event will use PS4.0 for the "beta" and the game's ultimate capabilities will be showcased on the Neo at E3.

I agree, I don't think PD will spill all their beans about GTS at this event and not save some news for Sony to showcase at E3

Any news on a decent photomode with GT Sport that would be amazing if it came with one on release, I'm hoping that is what the delay is :sly::D

One thing I'm confused about is how come Simone Marceno is able to send a tweet about this event we had no clue it was about to happen, yet Jordan hasn't confirmed anything in the forums or the newsfeed. Is he still bound by a NDA? Did Simone jump the gun?

Or perhaps PD let that tweet "leak" out to let the community know that the beta is coming soon? (Maybe I'm reading too much into it...)

I think it's not a secret, since PD's letter don't say anything like "pssst, don't say anyone!"
Jordan know more than Simone, so he stay quiet, probably

Yes you're right it doesn't say that but

(From the loosely translated email)
Before sending and making you sign the terms/conditions and releasing further details, we would like to know your availability.

So maybe @Jordan already signed the NDA and has to wait until he can say anything ;)

Jordan has obviously known more about the game than he's allowed to publish since October, PD/Sony persumably gave him a bunch of information and allowed him to publish the info about the three game modes back then, but nothing else.

There is on the other hand nothing stopping anyone sharing an email they receive although it could jeopardise their chances of being invited. Sony would have also surely anticipated that happening though, they're not silly. If they wanted it to remain secret they wouldn't have revealed so much info in the initial message.

Certainly once they are invited an NDA of some sort will be in place though.

I've heard a rumour that Jordan has the worlds worst case of
blue balls
....!;)

Almost bought XBONE myself but chose to stick with the PS4.

Also do you play Slrr by any chance?:D Because your username sounds very familiar: http://vstanced.com/page.php?id=78&highlight=DIEGO

If you can, get an xbox one also, it's worthy. I know it's hard for some people to keep 2 consoles but I think it's the perfect world for those that can.

About SLR, Yep, that's me. Been in the community a lot, even did some mods.

*Sorry for OT

Couldn't agree more. I've done the PC thing, and while there's still stuff that's tempting over there, I like sticking to both consoles. Plus, I don't think I could convince my girlfriend that in addition to those two, and the Mac for work, I'd need to bring a PC back into our place.

I'm looking forward to the potential of having a racing game other than Driveclub to keep the PS4 from becoming almost exclusively a Netflix player...

Cheers Diego! This is the kind of language we owners of both consoles speak. It's so easy to learn if you just "pick it up". ;) :D
