Its a good day to launch a vr capable title. Morpheus needs established franchises in that launch lineup. - I wonder how big that 11th hour patch is going to be lol.
Always trust the Germans! Again, we're still speculating hard af.

Note the difference in frequency those people feel the need to repeat themselves though. On both sides of the fence. They say what they feel and move on and I have no problem with that and I agree with some of the points they make. Both good or bad. Neither does anybody else have much of a problem by the look of it.

Also, note the way people are free to their opinions without being jumped on by other users. A fine example of people on either end of the scale coexisting in the same thread for the vast majority of the time. That does not happen here, sure, you can call it 'debate' all you want but it's just not, at all. It's just a mess of a back and forth where everybody's a loser. I am in no way saying GAF is perfect, far from it, it has many a fault, but at least I don't have to scroll through 15 pages of utter nonsense and repetition before I start to get a feel of the general opinions here.

I've seen people over there call GT6 perfect, I've seen people say it was an unplayable mess, but both were free to call it that without ridicule because that was their opinions based on their experience with the game. So every time I read that what happens here is what happens when passionate fans with varying experiences on GT are put together, I laugh, because it's truly not the case.

The pessimistic people blame the 'die hards', The optimistic people blame the 'haters'. Whilst both camps pretend to be realists. The truth is neither camp are right. A true realist thinks without bias or let passion affect their judgement, a true realist knows that GT:Sport is Schrödinger's cat as of right now.

Im just saying.. a bit off topic, but I wish we had an "Ignore" button to simply ignore users posts that we may not like to see.

If GTS beta launches in the next couple of weeks it would be close to 5 months before Oct 12 which would be in line with the duration of a true beta. For those of you who have lately been bitter about the tone and content of this discussion, take note that 2 hours and 8 posts into that particular thread, the topic of a "spring" release and doubts about it being released before 2017. Just sayin'

I never noticed the comments there, its deja vu all over again. I wonder if someone in that thread is going to comment on any GT facebook responses

Seems to be true. Someone else had access to the 'playstationfriends.de' website (official German press release site for PlayStation which is shown in the previous image posted) and posted this image (No Man's Sky is there to prove legitimacy, the release date is correct for the Europe region):

Seems to be October 12, at least in Europe (Germany to be specific)

Well I mean it's perfectly feasible, not really much more to say at this stage. I'm pretty sure it'll be revealed at either this PD event or E3 anyway, so not long to wait for confirmation.

Seems pretty legit, and exciting.

I mean, we knew there was some vr component, but a proper launch title? Amazing...

A GTS + VR + NEO bundle would be pretty tempting (if crazy expensive)

It could be that the game supports only partially VR with current PS4. For example only in time trials. Remember GT5 supporting head tracking with PS Eye only in tt.

As if, haha. Those days are long gone, my friend :)

True to a degree but there is clearly a large variance. A few post-release patches to add a few finishing touches to features, add in some little features you didn't quite get finished and add in some more content, I'm cool with that. What isn't cool is taking weeks or even months to add major, core features of the game. Like I say, hopefully that isn't the case this time around.

The ideal is to have all the features on release day.

But if we must have patches for play game as soon as possible, I agree with that.

This is not unique to PoDi, (almost) all studios do that.

Like I said, there is a huge variance in it. Not all studios release games with entire features or sections of the game missing, what is most common is games with a few little things missing and some level of bugs/issues.

Hopefully PD manage to fall into the latter category, that's all I'm saying. No need to get so defensive as always.

Depends really. If features which are instrumental to the whole ethos of the game are missing then the game just becomes an incomplete disjointed mess. Adding the finishing touches by patches would be acceptable but whole chunks of the game missing just so they can make PSVR launch would be unacceptable. Remember facebook dude has already said they don't want to make the mistakes of the past.

Oh of course, mainly kidding.

But there's something to be said for the opposite approach, i.e. dirt rally on steam early access... No reason why that couldn't work, in theory, on console. Never gonna happen, I know, but hey...
