What do you think are the chances we'll get new SuperGT cars, DTM, V8's in GT Sport?

I am 100% sure we will get new Super GT cars, we got new SGT cars for all GT series and considering that we have the 2012 HSV's and BRZ in GT6 i think we will have the new models from 2014 the NSX concept the new Lexus and the GTR in GT500 and maybe Prius and CRZ and hopefully we will get the BMW Z4 with Miku livery :)

I think i never completed a career mode of any GT except GT5 Prologue and GT is still my favourite game franchise.
For me its not the career mode that sells me but just the way of collecting cars and racing or test driving them on different tracks. In GT4 i stopped the 0-60 and quartermile times and tested about 100 cars for their top speed - i wrote all of that down to a few pages of paper. It was just so much fun to make comparisons between cars of the different eras.

I did the same thing way back in the PS1 days, and actually stumbled across them recently (copy/pasted from the Infield):

That's all info for a car FAQ, but I definitely did some other road-test style things, like Rev Magazine (even if real life took over after the first issue  ), or the pre-cursor, The Hangar (Vol 1, Vol 2, Vol 3). Over in Forza land, I've lapped every single stock car around Lime Rock.

In GT5 and GT6 i mainly completed the career mode for 2/3 and then started collecting different cars to test drive them on a few tracks like nürburgring. I just enjoyed driving the cars like i would do in real life, first cruising down the track and then pushing it more and more.
Watching the replays then was the icing on the cake as GTs replays are always great and the car movement looks pretty believable in GT6 (and it did in later versions of GT5 too).

So, the career mode isnt the everything for me.

The issue with the PS3 games' careers is that they're so linear. GT2 and GT3 had fantastic approaches, where the player could really choose how they wanted to progress. So for those that care about that sort of thing, it's a pretty substantial step back.

For me, while I love doing the same sort of driving that you've described, GT6 coming with 800 or so PS2-era cars that I've been able to drive since 2005 didn't really move me. Yes, the physics are improved compared to GT4 (and GT5), but we're talking diminishing returns, and for me, it doesn't outweigh the "been there, done that" feeling.

Unfortunately, having both Microsoft and Sony consoles, a fair chunk of the cars added between GT5 and GT6 were ones I was already enjoying in FM4 for two years before GT6. Not all of them of course, and I recognize that's not a common situation, but nonetheless, the impact GT6 had was lessened for me because of that.

That being said, lapping around the Nordschleife is still – and always will be – good fun.

But to be fair i think the winning credits werent much different in GT4 and GT5 compared to GT6 as much as i recall. I for one never used the money glitch.

That's precisely the problem: winnings weren't substantially increased from GT4 to GT5, but the most expensive cars in the game were roughly 7 times more expensive in the PS3 games. Not being able to farm prize cars for cash hurt, too.

I've got an answer too. :)

Only 150?! How many people worked on Uncharted 4? Surely more than twice. People see Gran Turismo as a huge brand but in fact it seems to be a small studio. I don't know if it's still viable with AAA today.

Less than ten days before "the event", I think it's a safe bet to say their will be news this week.

Plus PD doubled the price for nearly every Standard car that had been in GT4 as a used car starting with GT6, plus arbitrarily fiddling with (usually raising significantly) some other car prices. And they clearly recognized it was a problem, since they implemented the Seasonals that gave you hundreds of thousands of credits for little effort whatsoever, but they still didn't see any need to just fix it so the regular career mode didn't cost so much.

And on top of that, GT6 on launch for the first two weeks was stripped of the two big go-to things GT5 had at the time to decrease the credit grind: No log in bonus, and most blatantly, no B-Spec.

I'm piss off about all this remaining with no news at all!
Every day i check gtplanet forums and the web for news. But i thinking beyond the negative comments from fanboys or tired gt fans like me..
I'm thinking about how gt change the racing game industry and all the achievements all the PD's leadership with GT
And then i chill out. Stop to be piss
And i say its worth...
Its worth all the remaining about this game and all the love that hinting behind this game from Kaz...
Can't wait...
I like other racing games like the lovely Pcars or the core Assetto corsa i don't say that the gt is the perfect sim out there
But gt have something like magic feel that i never find on other games....
We dont know if the gts it will be a good game
But i'm sure that is worth all the remaining....

Err... you do realise there's been some quite significant news in the last couple of days? Like a beta test of GTS for invited players from 18th-20th of May? The leaking of the 12th October 2016 launch date to coincide with the PSVR launch? The fact that @Jordan, @SlipZtrEm, and @Brend have all been teasing news they know about that we don't? There's most definitely been news...

Updated damage model confirmed!:D

So they do actually read these forums... Interesting to see what they've actually incorporated from what we have to say. After all, they seem to have finally got the message about sound...

EDIT: did you edit/add that bit where it says "2 legs" with the arrow? Or is that a hilarious coincidence?

EDIT 2:
Can't wait to drive my Subaru LEGacy and my Honda LEGend around, er, LEGuna Seca in my GT Sport leggings while playing GT Sport.

(sorry :nervous:)
