...It's simple - from 3:30 to 4:30, it'll be GT:S presentation for the members of the press. The dude who typed that itinierary probably had one too many drinks or something.

...Or not.

Kaz is a master of his own space-time.

This makes perfect sense.

'Soon'

"Look for more GT Sport news in the past. Wait, I mean future. No, wait, I do actually mean past. It'll be released last Thursday. Or soon. Or possibly never. Or maybe forever. Who knows."

I posted the entire list of current FIA series a few pages back and they're not that great in number, even less when you take out F1, which is not going to be present as Codies has the exclusive license. So what you're left with really wouldn't be enough to pad out a game, IMO.
I wouldn't say that. RaceRoom is one helleck of a game with the restricted content it has, and I raced it about as much as I did GT2, well over a hundred hours. GT4, 5 and 6 clocked up a few hundred apiece, but then I had them longer, and there wasn't a blockbuster show up like Fallout 4 to distract me from them. He says while No Man's Sky lurks over the horizon... :P

But RR shows what you can do with a limited car count and league involvement. Of course it has a nice selection of tracks, and the dreaded Nordschleife added recently, which helps a lot. And this is what I'm hoping to see in GT Sport. A selection of FIA sanctioned leagues and car lists, from modest racers and street cars to big honking GT and LMPs. That would be enough to keep me racing - in-between rocketing around the universe and working on a prog rock project among other things. If we get something like this, the game will be a serious racing game:
  • A selection of sports cars, from the Miata all the way to Ferrari, RUF/Porsche and Lamborghini.
  • Modest racing versions of Miata and Cappucchino, and other bite sized cars.
  • More serious racers like Ford Focus, SEAT and Honda Civic, Mustang, BMW 320i, 350Z, etc.
  • Another step up along the line of GT4, and this would provide for some excellent mid-powered racing machines the likes of Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ginetta, Chevrolet, Lotus, Toyota, Ford, Maserati, RUF/Porsche, Nissan, etc. In PCARS, this was my favorite class.
  • Beefy monsters like GT3 and 2 range: 300ZX, Mustang, Camaro, Skyline, GT-R, Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Corvette, Viper, Ford GT, Maserati, RUF/Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc. This was my range of choice in RaceRoom.
  • Blow the doors off with LMP and other prototypes, and CART and Formula GT open wheelers.
This is something which doesn't require more than a PCARS-sized stable. 100 - 150 cars or so, or even 75 to 100. The tracks can be well stocked, and I think they must be, in order to allow for a wide variety of FIA racing. This would make for a freaking huge Gran Turismo game, good enough to satisfy us for a year or so, like the Forza Horizons.

So,when should we be receiving todays GT Week article?

Soon.
