Using Snapchat is smart business by PDI. Why? Snapchat has approximately 8 billion views per day.

Snapchat's app has more than 100 million daily users who spend an average of 25 to 30 minutes on the app each day, Spiegel told the audience.

 that are indeed decent figures. I have to confess that I am behind as far social networks are concerned because most annoy the hell out of me. I guess I am more of a forum guy. I like Twitter to follow news and share pics. Flickr is decent and Google plus I like as well. Facebook I can't stand. When I see my teenage girls and their friends how they are connected I simply realize I come from an medieval era

If it wasn't for the fact that my wife was a high school teacher and my teenage sons, I would be left in the stone age. I learn so much at dinner time! HAHA!!

Snapchat has it's own rules but it's basically a photo/video sharing tool that automatically deletes what you posted an hour later.

Snapchat is the best format for giving people live up to date clips of events that may not merit full uploads on other social media channels. Plus, it can give us an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes or give us a worldwide view of how large happenings are being covered from real people.

The strength of the tool is very much in the user, and judging on how well the NHL have utilised it... I'm more than happy to see it make the jump to other businesses providing they understand what makes it great.

...Gotta be honest here, even though I'm trying hard not to get my hopes up too high, the anticipation is killing me. Man, GT:S better be better than good. Otherwise, I'm gonna do something.

Or, at least, roll over and cry...

So potentially the PDI Facebook person might be at event using Snapchat. PDI themselves might be the first to do the leaking revealing. Some members of this forum should be already playing the game now. Will keep an eye on Snapchat and Twitter...

Wait a minute, even if you're watching the stream on Youtube you have to register?

No, I think that's just if you want to watch it on your PS4. The direct benefit of that is that it's added to a calendar of events, and from that the PS4 can automatically turn on and log you in at the time of the stream starting. Also, @AJ said that there were "reasons" for everyone to register for the stream on their PS4, but not what those reasons were. I registered, if only to see what these reasons might be...
