He means how much will they be improved.
Thank you.

It may seem foolish, but I am actually expecting a lot from this AES system, IF it is being used yet for gts which we do not know.

@ron86 that's absolutely correct, however if the sounds are still...... ****..... I can't expect something as big as audio to magically transform by the time the game hits the stores.

We should really keep in mind that what we will be looking at today will be a BETA of GTSport! So for sure its still in development and some things might not be final.

Yes but as someone else said, they should be much closer to the end of development than the start at this point. Things should be mostly finished, and then as I said, we were given the "Sounds are just placeholder, they'll be improved for the final game" line for GT6, and it never happened, so I'd be very concerned if they fed us that again. If they have a new sound system they should be able to demonstrate it on some of the cars, even if it's not finished on everything. The hope would therefore be they didn't want to show off too much last night for fear of leaks and are saving the best stuff for today. We'll see.

Correct, beta means that all core features are done, and most work are bug fixes, and minor adjustments to existing features.

That Alfa  Seems like it has been RM'ed
Perhaps, although I did find a race version on google.

If the sounds and physics, my two priorities, are not improved, I will be very very very disappointed. And right now, things seem to go quite in that sad way...

Tonight will be the moment though. But I don't expect a revolutionnary GT game anymore. However I hope I will be surprised, it is not impossible.

While this is true, the audio will not change much from Beta to final. If they do it properly, the sounds will be done on a car to car base, which means they're assets just like the 3D parts and textures.

Also, we were told that crap since GT5, so I won't believe a single similar word anymore.

tfw you can't see any of the tweets due to the internet at college blocking them :(
I had this exact problem a few hours ago. It was torture.

If you want i could PM you some screen clippings of the juicy ones!

They were disappointed by the physics... they were driving an oval.
They were disappointed by the sound... they were driving in a loud environment experiencing the audio through a mediocre setup.
About the physics ... yeah, I agree that an oval is hardly a good circuit to show if/how much the physics have improved.
As for the sound ... yes, the setup does make a difference, but I think even crappy speakers in a loud environment can give a rough indication of quality.
