I notice that these players have a headset.

Oh dear me, the sounds the sounds the sounds... sometimes I think some of you would be happy with Mario Kart physics if the sounds caused ear damage. ;)

I want everything improved too, but I won't pout and go home if I don't get hearing damage. If the physics get some attention, and single player has tighter, faster fields of bots, I'll be a happy racer in GT land. Your land may vary.

The sounds are an incredibly evocative and immersive way of simulating the feel of being in an actual race car.

For me, it's very important, just as important as the physics, visuals, structure.

And in most games, even the good ones people keep mentioning, it's still not given enough attention.

For the competition most likely. I went to a sim racing facility a couple of months ago and we had to wear headsets so that "race central" could talk to us and get us organized as well.

My predictions;

Improved eye candy
Sounds still lackluster
Many cars ported over from GT6
Chasing rabbits offline
Weird grids that mix up all types of cars that don't belong together
Same career structure offline
No livery editor and basic customization
Lot's of might's and could's from Kaz's Q&A :D

As has been said, tire noise is very helpful in competition to determine if you are putting too much input into your steering or if you are carrying more speed than you should for the amount of steering you're putting in. My issue is the tire model between the grip differences.

I think it's too loud personally. (Just gives us audio sliders, PD.)
This is one of the things that I'm really hoping GT Sport brings to the table, the ability to really personalize the experience with sliders and various boxes to check on and off. I've really been spoiled by PC sims in that regard and it would be hard to take two steps backwards. I remain optimistic.
