I think the game itself looks great, sounds decent, and the physics will be at worst, the same as GT6, which is pretty decent. The rubbish driving, however, has spoiled an event that would have been pretty good otherwise. Can't imagine the Polyphony or Sony stewards at the event being too impressed, seeing as this was supposed to be clean racing.

I see dudes are complaining about the racing here. I wonder if they themselves will be any better in the same event and same situation.
Regarding they are called the 'best drivers in the World' then we are going to be expecting more clean racing than what is being presented now.

That Corvette/Ferrari Battle was easily the best one of the day (well, the Toyota BMW one wasn't terrible either).

I've been really annoyed driving online in Forza lately, as there's a lot of unnecessary contact that makes clean, fast driving almost impossible. It's been a while since I've ran with the public in GT6. If this is anything to go by, I guess FM6 has prepared me for GT Sport?

:-/

Caution clock confirmed!

When you release a game that's marketed not just towards racers but so called "casual players" you're basically inviting a few idiots to play the game. Most actual hardcore sims aren't this bad but as others have stated these guys are the "best in the world" by themselves, not with others. The legit racers in the GT community are actually amazing

Wait, that picture with the safety car that was posted a few pages ago: I counted 16 racing cars, including one you could very barely see at the top. So that either means that we're getting larger fields for online lobbies (which would also mean the pace car was driven by a player), or that we're actually going to have some way to enable safety car periods, warm-up laps, etc. in races. If it's the latter, SWEET!

These drivers are really pushing the limits of these cars, I commend them, this is the best race so far out of the whole stream....

Gran Turismo for me, was always about the physics fun factor. And it doesn't disappoint here, even better sense of speed than before, suspension also can be seen working well. Sounds are more lively than before. Overall it will be fun, I just wish they had the full package(GT7) out on time, or at least earlier than we can expect. The competitor is churning out title after title packed with content and various manufacturers.

Ferrari, Chevrolet, Aston Martin. Great race...

...until the Chevrolet loses it and allows the car to roll back broadside across the racing line.

There is a lot of action. Positions seem to have better sync now, no lag bumps in this race.

Don't think I've seen any decent overhead or long distance camera shots. Just the same old inside the confines of the track stuff. It's a bit of a shame, I was hoping with the PS4 they'd have enough power to get some decent view distance. Nice helicopter or blimp shots are great for racing.

I might not be faster, but I'd be cleaner.
Like the Nurb or Bathurst in gt6.

It was 16 cars including the safety car, assuming we're both talking about the oval race that happened earlier in this stream?

How does the ring look so much better in gameplay than trailer?! (thanks to Goldrusher from Neogaf)

Yep. It was in a picture posted in this thread, though it's gonna be hard to find it now that we're several dozen pages down the line.

These guys have had the whole day learning GTS physics, i know many people in this thread that can actually keep it on track. Yet again mistakes happen ofcourse.. but their racecraft is ***** tbh.

And this is supposed to be a grand final so yes.. I have the right to be annoyed by the quality of drivers. Look at Renault Sport drivers for example those guys know how to drive.
