Has there been any mention of what kind of wheel support we can expect? Or will this be another Logitech/Thrust Master only title??

Fanatec support is a per developer deal on PS4. It's upto each individual dev to implement the Fanatec drivers into their game, so PCars and Dirt Rally have support but Driveclub doesn't. As a first party studio I don't expect PDI to implement it. Thomas from Fanatec has talked about upcoming PS4 support. I'm just hoping that means a new rim for my CSW v2 rather than a completely new wheel.

Please, please upload an uncompressed version of this one on Mega or something. Seriously the Youtube compression is killing it:

Some nice new videos are surfacing now but I have a feeling my most wanted cars to see, the TS030 and 908, were not loved the way I hoped.

Regardless, I am pleased by what I have seen so far.

AI
Not much has been seen but the insultingly rubbish effort we have been subjected to until now must be scrapped.

GRAPHICS

Everything looks sublime. There is some optimisation required to eliminate the pop-in of self-shading on trees and to at least reduce shadow detail pop-in. The HDR lighting is gorgeous and I cannot wait to see the sunset and sunrise at Circuit de la Sarthe.

SOUND
There certainly has been some improvement since GT6 but it would appear there is a significant way to go before Polyphony can be compared to Project CARS and Assetto Corsa. The engines are too clean sounding. Tire squeal is still too pronounced and needs to be reduced so as not to be so obtrusive.

CARS AND CIRCUITS
The initial feeling over GT Sport having 137 cars was disappointing. There is no other way to put it than disappointing. However, getting 137 cars, plus presumably some DLC, may not be so bad but that is relying on Polyphony not taking the proverbial and boosting the count with pointless duplication. Project CARS has about 125 (Exact figure welcomed) and that never feels a paltry offering due to there being no real duplication.

In terms of circuits we are far more in the dark. We are all but guaranteed Fuji, Suzuka and Spa-Francorchamps will return along with what was likely an early GT Sport build of Circuit de la Sarthe in the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo unveil trailer. I think GT needs to start bolstering it's real world circuit offering though.

PRODUCTION VALUES
The area in which GT is always strong. The UI I have seen to date is quite spectacular with a contemporary minimalist style which I love. The car list thumbnail screen being a real highlight.

LIVERY EDITOR
All I can say is... yyyeeesss!!!

how does the physics looks

Here is a video that I used for data reference for 458 Challenge build in GT6, should be similar to 458 GT3 :

Enjoy the sound and telemetry data :P Crank up the volume :D

Nice video, thanks!

I like how Gran Turismo 5 & 6 sounds so realistic in high speeds when air resistance cause so much noise that almost covers engine noise.

As for RL engine sound compared to GTS, it surely isn't matched but it is on a good direction from the sample aspect. They need to add brake noise, and make the exhaust note angrier imo.

It's still way better than in GT6, because lighting in GT5P was pre-backed (no time/weather change). GT5 is nice trade-off, but GT6 is worst of all graphically.

They introduced dynamic teselation to make the game look worse. Cant stand those gridy treas and stuff...

Sadly GT Sport will never have those crisp shadows. :indiff:

Very true. PS3 could not handle properly the GT6 engine. Overall, GT5P best optimized GT game on PS3.

I'm still waiting for E3 to propose something substantial. I'm likely to pre-order it anyway but as of now I haven't had the motivation to do so before next month's showing.

As it stands the only thing I've been wowed by are the photomode features, and more to the point of a recent discussion: abandoning the dozen other premium models wholesale is a decision that not only puzzles me, but is laughably contradictory to previous statements of their modeled superiority.
