I don't think he's speaking for all manufacturers, just the ones he's dealt with. So you're calling him a liar? That's a pretty serious accusation.

Serious accusation
Yes, I accuse him of being a liar, because I don't believe him. /s

One man experience do not constitute a general claim of "urban myth". So, I should believe what someone says, in order not to be taken as calling that someone a liar ? What is happening with you ? Are you offended by me not believing Stefano ?

I don't think Stefano should use the word "urban myth".

Okay, I personally don't take many reviews into account. Plenty of ways to make your own mind up. I'm not sure he meant that anyway

Don't worry, it was more like a reference to those who judge the game just from the reviews.

@super_gt probably wanted to show how the "physics suck", but then noticed it was the tire choice that affected the handling.

Like I said SMS told us the restrictions from manufacturers on damage. I'll try to grab some exact quotes.

In comparison to reality? Yes, it isn't brilliant. In comparison to GT games it's miles better and I'll take that any day over 'thud' and drive away.
Sure it s better than GT games but i will not say miles better
Reality damages are 'sexy' compare to these pictures
Which game is it from ? I m sure i saw better at this aspect in a game

Beam
I mean, look at BeamNG. That's the pinnacle of damage

Softbody physics is the future ... of GTA i hope :) but every sim should have something like this even limited to 10% of its capacity.. So you can never destroy much further than the bumpers. Still the deformations it would allow is much more satisfying and realistic than whatever everyone else is doing with ugly damage textures or falling pieces.

Gtsport is gonna sell gang busters it's the first Gt on ps4 even though it's a spin off.
Don't be so sure, the casual millions make up most sales and I can see many turned off by lack of cars, no offline career and online eSports focus. They'll wait for GT7 instead. This isn't like 5 Prologue where they're still getting the classic GT experience on a diet, it's a very different game.

I just... I am really exited to drive the 4C race car and the F-Type race car around the nurburgring by myself. I want to play this game so bad, and I have absolutely no substitute games right now, and its frustrating.
Yeah those PD made GT3 cars are pretty sick, as well as the Group B rally cars

:lol::lol:
I could not see why he was understeering on every corner, now i know. I imagine what he thought about that experience, if he did not realized that he had different tires on...
What are we supposed to be taking from that video?
When I post the video I did not know that he is driving with different front/rear tires.

They just changed the video settings and set it to private. I guess now they notice their failure...

Not so sure. I think a lot will buy it blindly because it's GT and put the disc in the tray followed by WTF is this and then the complaints will happen.

The casuals will by it because it is Gt I doubt they will even know what modes the game has also I have a feeling it's going to be one of the first games on Psvr and that will also help it in the sales department.

They'll be lucky if they crack 1-2 million sales. pCARS barely cracked a million across 3 platforms (heard nothing since), Forza struggled to hit a million in 3 months despite being one of the biggest names on Xbox and Driveclub had only passed 2 and a bit million before Sony swung the axe.

It's been pointed out now a few times about how most of, if not all 117 offline events are tests and missions. Perhaps from what was shown of the options, online races and events will show up regularly. I mean the special events we saw a tiny bit of. Maybe in a way force people to do their careers online. Just a thought

Thanks, I'm doing other stuff now, and my internet kind of suck at the moment, so I didn't check the video. Does that mean the article about the London event and the review was based on mismatched tire ? They will amend the article, me guessing.

... it was them who wrote that particular article (I just looked it up again)? I'm speachless...

My god, that makes those guys and their site look like a joke.

I think the people who have bought all the Gran Turismo titles previously will buy this one too. What other game exists on PS4 that competes against it? I have iRacing, but I have already pre-ordered GTS because I want something a little less serious and time consuming sometimes that I can genuinely enjoy playing.

I still don't understand why there's been so many people complaining. Anyone who was at Copper Box and got to actually play it have had very positive reviews. There are times to be critical, but saying the game is not any good 6 months before release is not logical. So much time left to fine tune the game. Splitting hairs with games that have been released and refined already is not a true comparison either. Take any game 6 months before release and there will be tons of small issues

Many casuals apparently still research the games they buy, I mean something made 6 million decide GT6 wasn't worth it, I'm pretty sure it wasn't because they all bought a PS4.
