Seems nulified indeed. Very low compared to other videos. I would prefer it a bit louder. Only a bit though just to clearly warn when we are about starting to lose grip.
It's a very positive sign that they seem to be addressing the tire sounds from build to build. I'd also prefer it a bit louder but a slider is what's really needed. Other games do it and it's quite useful and since everyone has a different setup from tv speakers, to cheap stereo or 5.1 to high end it only makes sense to allow some adjustment.

IA is clearly better. Still passive (doesn't defend much when you overtake) but better.

It took 6 minutes for first, on 9 minutes. And AI still close to the end. We see clearly that we must not make a mistake.

This has absolutely nothing to do with GT6.

AI is not better, in GT6 they follow the exact same racing line and same behaviour. Seems like a copy paste from GT6.

They'd be able to defend if they where even able to catch or match his speed in the first place. It's either he's clearly a great driver(which going off the lap, would indicate the opposite, but not overly so) or the Ai just isn't up to par, as it sits.

If you can take 1st half way through the 1st lap, then what are you going to do for the rest of the race? At that point it's becoming a hot lap session.

Chlamydia is clearly better than HIV, they're still both bad and I don't particularly want either. You keep living in denial if you want, the videos are there for everyone else to see and make their own judgement.

The "professional" setting was 4 minutes 12th to first, not 6 or 9.

"Must not make a mistake". He runs into the back of most of the cars he passes and still passes 12 of them in 4 minutes.

And AI still close to the end.
Given how easy it is to pass the AI, yet they somehow can magically maintain your pace once past I'd say, rubberbanding confirmed.

Very bad video.

He drives very badly. Probably easy or normal mode for IA. And the sound was recorded very badly. There is an awful noise.

I stopped after 30 seconds.

  . The truth hurts so you run away from it in other words. Take the rose tints off mate and try, just try, to be a little bit objective about this game once in a while.

rubberbanding was the most annoying thing about AI in past GT's and needs to be annihilated as it has no place on the face of the earth.

...12th to first in around 4 minutes? Well hey what do you know, there has been an improvement in AI department, it seems.

I mean, in GT6, one "could" go from stone dead last to first in a couple of minutes. Basically, it's twice as better than before. See? Progress.

So now people are not allowed to like things in the game and have a different opinion without being called a fanboy?
Except you cannot put a video and tell others: see, everything about this game is better, AI, sound, graphics, car counts, VR, etc..
Everyone has a right to counter-argue, and it's better when both sides bring arguments to the table.

I don't know what to think about the game. I actually took GT6 off the shelf and did the GT3 Championship. I had good racing using the GTA GT-R. Took me til the last corner of every race but Nurburgring GP, to pass all the AI. In which, the AI raced hard(mainly at Spa and Suzuka) slipstreaming and passing me(I don't block).

I'll see when the game gets reviewed by trustworthy people in here.

Where was that said?

People are allowed to like whatever they want to like. People can also take issue when someone like @Zlork misrepresents things and or resorts to flat-out denial when stuff doesn't line up with his personal opinions (like he did right here.

Time and time again, he's shown himself to be quite possibly the least-objective person on these forums when it comes to anything GT Sport related. There's no value there, no deep insight. It's the digital equivalent of jamming your fingers in your ears as a child when someone says something you don't agree with.

That the AI "stays close" after being utterly dominated in the first four minutes of a "professional" difficulty race tells us next to nothing, too: PD has a penchant for using rubberbanding.

I think we' ve got a pretty good idea of what we're going to get in November.
This should be GT6 after the promises GT5 Prologue made.

To disagree on an opinion is one thing. Insinuating that someone with a different opinion is a fanboy is another ... I think it is offensive and not necessary.

To use the word "fans" is one thing. Insinuating that what someone really means is "fanboys" is also offensive and unnecessary.

Well there are two types of fanboys really:
Those that would like to see GT improve and not overlook blindly at the flaws so that the company learns from its errors.
And those that think PD never make the wrong moves and these cannot make GT progress at all.

We're all GT fanboys there, that's why we log in this GT Sport section on GTPlanet, some just prefer to judge more objectively, that's all.

About he GTS ai. I'm seriously worried about it. I don't want to downgrade my cars to have challenge in offline sessions anymore.

Sorry about a bit off topic videos.. I'm going to do exactly same "Let's Overtake them" style tests with GT Sport as with Project Cars.
One lap at Nordschleife or at the Nür24h track in Pcars.
The ai was about at 85% now. Big challenge for me. Just not possible to win them at 100% difficult in one lap here:

My older L.O.T. challenge with my 530hp Sierra against 100% same class ai at Nordshcleife. Very high challenge:
""

These type of challenges can be very enjoyable and at the same time highly demanding ai confrontations in the virtual Nordshcleife. Somehow I have a feeling GT Sport won't offer challenges like these. But well see.. *sigh*

Just in case any of you haven't seen the new Sharefactory Update on PS4 it now includes 2 tracks & green screen. This means now you will be able to have a picture in picture comparison on PS4 games running along side each other this will save all those that are editing on other formats for this. Although I am not sure how easy it is to use:indiff: This will help especially when GTS releases for pictures of one lap against another or even against Pcars etc..Nice little update :D

Had a quick play with it, Picture in Picture is nice and easy and you can play with the audio from both tracks as well.

Dirt Rally Example.

For the first time I'm not hyped by a GT. I will buy it but not day one because updates, additional content... I'm not hyped because this time I'm realistic. Sound, collision, features, career structure, car count...too many flaws IMO
Even the trailer was disappointing! I don't trust Poly's words anymore. So like PES or Final Fantasy before, Gran Turismo has become just a game among others. Clearly not by a lack of skill but rather mismanagmenent.
To be honest, if I was Shuhei Yoshida and knowing the state of GTSport : a big veto against the London event.
If things haven't changed in 2.5 years (and even more if we count gt6 development) why would they change in a few months? And I don't know a lot of game with so much love from its fans. I'm sure that if GT was great again, everybody would be happy. Thanks for all the great moments GT sniff sniff :P
