maybe dirt rally is too taxing for somebody, you could try sebastian loeb rally evo, its something between dirt rally and WRC.

I think if people are finding a driving game hard then the answer probably isn't to change games. Most of the time on rally games the problem is that people are overdriving and trying to do wild slides around every corner like they see on TV.

The answer is to slow down and drive more calmly, because while getting through a corner a couple of tenths faster is nice it's pointless if you go off at any point during the stage. You have to drive at a pace where you will make no mistakes, and work up from there.

It's a very different style of driving to circuit racing, where you know exactly where the road is going and the surface is predictable. Even mistakes on a circuit can often be not a big deal with modern tarmac runoff and barriers. A little mistake in a rally can cost you a lot of time or be stage over.

Styles of driving do not carry well from circuit racing to rallying, and people just need to adjust to that.

Yesterday I played GTS in Tokoname Japan. Even though there was only one game machine, I could play it earlier than I thought because only few people were waiting in a line. It seemed GTS isn't that popular anymore.

By the way, I drove Lexus RCF on the Nurburgring track. I realized easily that graphic engine improved enormously. Cars, reflects, trees, even humans, everything was beautiful and detailed. AI cars were still stupid and easy to overtake, but faster than GT6. There were less gaps between me and other AI cars. I couldn't overtake Corvette which was the top until I reached the long straight. At the same time, I was overtaked by AMG GT. I hate a slipstream :) Besides I noticed some tire options were added. I saw "standard" tires following other tires, like racing hard, medium and soft in driving option screen. Maybe you guys have already known it.

I regret I didn't take videos anyway!
(And sorry for my poor English. I'm learning English. I hope these make sence)
I see PD updated the accessible car list build by build. I never recall seeing the RC-F playable in any footage from London or E3.

I Know it my friend so what are you talkin' about? This is the open thread about GT frrom past to the future.
No, this is a general discussion thread for Gran Turismo Sport. This is why it is in the Gran Turismo Sport forum and called:
Gran Turismo Sport: General Discussion
You were told this yesterday when you wanted to talk about car preferences in real life. It still applies today - and will continue to apply. If I have to talk to you about this again I will not be very pleased.

Edit: Bye then.

Um no, this is specifically for GT Sport if the title is anything to go by.

And GTS can take from past something, or not? We don't know very much about this entry. Speculation is all about this thread and mention this is alright to me. or not?

How does the physics feel in that built, something like an evolution of gt6 physics or something totally different from gt6

Much more improved over GT6, I wasn't looking forward to jumping in the Evora as I didn't like the way they handled in GT6 but in GTSport It felt much easier to catch the back end and felt a bit more planted but still very nimble to change direction quickly!

Was it hard to catch up against the other players?

I personally found it easy to get the jump on the field as everyone was quite tippy toeing into the first corner and I made like 7 Positions up by the 2nd corner harpin :)

Today I published most of my unlisted videos on YouTube so looks like it's new although it isn't.

Saw your comment on YouTube, my brother's iPhone memory ran out recording in 4K. Below is video of full race captured by someone else:

Many Thanks for this! :)

If they cant develop proper sounds, colision phisics and variable climate and time with stable 60 fps; it is not wise to ask them to make proper rally phisics. In GT5 the rally phisics were madness. There was no grip at all. Very unrealistic.

I know it is offtopic, but a I have to disagree. I read that conclusion in many places, and i think is completely wrong. SLRE has just as good phisics as Dirt in snow; SLRE has way better phisics in tarmac, and a little bit better in ice and Dirt rally is a little bit better in dirt.

And dont talk about force feedback. SLRE in tarmac is good, but Dirt in that surface has totally corrupted force feedback. Is like playing Dirt 3.

PD: Im talking about PS4.

Edit: And i think telling to someone that SLRE its easier is a totally a bad advise because the stages in SLRE are milles more dificult.

Had you tried the newest patch from DIrt rally? the FFB for tarmac and handling for tarmac has been vastly different now. Most noticeable in pike peak hillclimb. My friend who is on ps4 said the ffb and the ways it handles makes him remind of GT6. you would want to try that out now. He is using a t500rs.

Btw most of my friend think that concept cars and rally car shouldnt had exist in GTS. In which i agreed with them

I've got a question regarding the pre-order. I have pre-ordered GTS: Digital Deluxe Edition in the PS Store back in May shortly after the London Announcement event. Though, looking back at the pre-order, it does say that I need to pay immediately after pre-ordering the game - which I didn't. Am I still able to get the game at the 16th with paying later on like in "standard" pre-orders where Sony charges your account a couple of days before the game's release, or will my pre-order get cancelled nontheless?

I think you get charged.

I was wondering when this coukd happen. He insulted me days ago and i reported him. Don't know if he got anything because of it.

Back to GTS, the same automotive tv show here in Brazil used GTS images to ilustrate something, they are talking about spoilers and how they can change the look and the car's performance.
Auto Esporte?
