If you've ignored him, then why did you decide to engage in an argument? Let's not throw this out the window any farther.
Just pointing out (what I perceive as) hypocrisy.

Also his posts seem to have hidden themselves correctly again. Strange...

EDIT: I hate to appear as if I'm cheaply chickening out of this conversation, so @Johnnypenso, if you want to reply to me in a PM, feel free to.

I forgot that I wanted to tell you guys about GTS graphics back in GT Academy days ago.

1. Graphics is good (Reads like 8.5/10 as in game reviews). But if your standard are 1-7 is bad, 8 is good, 9 is great, 10 is perfect, it is still 8.5). But please do not expect the graphics would be 1:1 with Driveclub photomode, realtime. Bit better than Driveclub IMO (In. My. Opinion. Dont even try to correct my opinion).

2. AA seems disabled, or indeed no AA at all. But I don't even thinking about it when my turn do race.

3. IIRC on each 5 minutes session, I noticed 2-3 screen tearing.

Still awesome.

No idea why your posts are still showing up for me even after I've ignored you, but what was that you keep telling me about playing the ball and not the man?

Publicly announcing that you've ignored someone is childish

Trying to start an argument with said person that you've ignored is even worse

Publicly announcing that you've ignored someone is childish
Only said that because I told him before that I'd ignored him just in case he replies to something I've said expecting a response, so I didn't want him to be confused as to why he was getting an alert from me.

Trying to start an argument with said person that you've ignored is even worse
Not worse than singing one tune and dancing to another. To me, anyway.

Wow BROS chill out its Gran Turismo Sport general discussion thread! It's a community everyone has the right to criticize what they like or not. ITS NOT called HATING and constant negative post on something means that the client is not satisfied with its products, seriously I feel like we need to keep telling this over and over to people :irked:. To the people who does not like criticism just ignore it, it does not affect the sales of the game nor destroy this community! Opinions will be opinions! :gtplanet: community. Have a great day further!

Probably because I'm not really on ignore and you're still scanning what I say to see if I might slip up. Anyway, you failed here again. Please go back to pretending to ignore me and all we'll all live happily ever after again.:D

But he wasn't expecting a response from you from that reply. It just seems like you're wanting attention.
I just remembered that I've told him not to talk to me again, yet here I am talking to him. I guess I have damn little room to criticize him for hypocrisy... :scared:

My apologies!

If you don't like all the negative posts you can do one or more of the following:

1. Introduce a positive topic. Just because someone wrote a negative post doesn't mean that we all have to discuss their topic. If you want to read positive posts, start introducing them and others will join in.

2. Add users you think are being too negative to your ignore list. Just because someone writes a post here doesn't mean that you will have to listen to them.

3. Stop following this thread.

because the original post is me and ridox talking about stock car in stock setup in gt6 and lift off oversteer,

Surely you guys would want to know we actually discuss this other than here.

Me and ridox are more focus on FF and 4wd stocks.

:) There's a way to make FF car to lift off oversteer into a corner, butafter I talked with one of my PSN mate, we realized that the auto clutch/blip ( Stick ) and clutch/driveline simulation like engine braking effect/engine compression ( wheel/stick ) on different controller input also a factor to lessen the chance of it happen. We need to remember that the rear stepping out is also aided by the driver steering input/sometimes intention by the driver, not just sudden lift off the throttle and the spring/damper setup used. The AI stoppie, that was funny everytime I saw them, physics glitch ? or intentional by PD ?

This can be done ( oversteer entry without e brake of course, just steering, brake/lift, no tricks or exploits ), some drifts with FF

Anyway, not all FF cars in real have this natural tendency in every situation, well, depend on how the driver too :) You will rarely see Best Motoring drivers have it, even when pushing hard stock Honda CRX Del Sol on gymkhana course with inner rear wheel lifting doing very sharp sudden braking/turn, but still composedly tracking the line. The old FF Celica was worse, it just understeer city when thrown around, this also on FTO, Eclipse GT and Fiat Coupe Turbo gymkhana tests driven by Nakaya-san.

I have some FF car in the works ( Mugen Civics ), but it's best to discuss this in our PM.

Which is why it's a shame the GT series has never featured all the major tracks and cars shown in the show. Same with Initial D, though worse since the GT series only has a standard car (86) and no tracks of that series.
GT2/3/4 was nearly there with the various "test" and gymkhana tracks. PD got the cars right. From RE Amemiya, Spoon, JTCC EG6 , etc.

GTS is too far along, Too far from the early games, it's more global than being just a JDM BMI Hot Version type of game.

I do hope the game is good. I do hope GTS is not more of the same in a pretty package. I do hope it is a new and extremely good beginning for "Part 2" of the franchise.

If PD turn up to Gamescom with the same build we've seen previously, I may just cancel my collector's edition pre-order. It doesn't exactly install me with confidence if we aren't seeing any new tracks or cars this close to release. I understand PD may just be playing their cards close to their chest but based on similar experiences to this in the past - I'm not buying it.

Main motivation for cancelling the collector's edition would be that if a delay were to happen, it would probably push it right into the middle of December. For the Christmas period, it's a bit too expensive to stump that amount of cash up for a game I'm actually not totally convinced on.

I just think we're being left out to dry here, hence this thread spiraling into the abyss.

The thread is called "Gran Turismo Sport General Discussion" which, although rather vague, tends to imply that the content should be about Gran Turismo Sport and not about how to formulate an opinion, other members game preferences, or (yawn) what exactly constitutes a driving simulation. Some things are good, some are bad. Overbearing bullying and name calling is bad.

I am also bad.

OK?

100% with you on this one.
We got off track here.

I don't know if you remember but they had a new build just for press right after E3. Inside Sim Racing tried it and apparently it was much better than E3 build handling wise... Anyways it would be stupid if they had the same build for E3 and Gamescom

Yep, I do remember that. I should have elaborated; In terms of what I want to see from a new 'build' I'm talking new content. Tracks, Cars, Livery Editor demo... (:P)

I've played both, the build I've played doesn't hold a candle to DC.

I got a non-gaming friend to play DC, Pcars and Dirt Rally the other day (PS4).

He said Rally had the best visuals by far, DC was good but not as good with amazing rain, and PCars looked fugly, lol. I was blown away by DC for ages, absolutely incredible weather, scenery, photomode, but everything else is slowly creeping up on it, and in some cases, overtaking it, I think.

I've bought DC thanks to its cheap price. It's the most beautiful racing game in motion. When you stop your car and look at the background, there is something wrong. However, its weather effects will never be topped on PS4.
