I wish PD would finally make the HUD floating and not fixed so it moves with the G-Forces experienced like you see in many racing and FPS games. It just add's that extra level of immersion.

Fixed HUD's are so old fashioned, like it's the 90's!

I'm guessing that's for VR.

I have found a video with footage of the new dirt track, and below is a picture of the track map zoomed in. Video:

Umm, dont like the rally aproach. Rally is not about circuits (except the super special). And rally stages are much more narrow.

I like those type of circuits, but it is a miss oportunity that they didnt take a real rally aproach.

That's how rally in GT usually. Rally is on circuit.

PD did try a "proper rally" aka "point A to point B" in GT5, but it don't work well.

So public day two, are they going to come out with something else, promotional wise? Because right now they might as well not be there, they're not getting any coverage in the major gaming outlets barring a few minor ones that have published the screenshots. Other games that have actually come out with trailers and new info are naturally dominating and getting people talking.

Surely they don't need reminding that Europe is where they took the biggest hit in sales from 5 to 6, in terms of numbers. You're not going to get those 5 million back on board if they don't know enough to care about the game.

Not sure about PD's marketing strategy approach at GamesCom. No video footage allowed, no official new info and trailers. Its either they want to give a big surprise to us OR nothing big and substantial has changed/added since E3. They could had showoff the livery editor or direct feed of other tracks by now.

Woah woah woah what happened here? New screenshots, new track, new cars... and that Beemer? It looks awesome. So to the screenshots. I didn't think GT could go much better... For the first time ever, GT looks like art. It challenges reality and plays with your mind so well that it's very easily fooled by the crazy detail shown throughout.:P

Yes, I know this sounds like childish carry-on but I'm genuinely amazed. I would never have expected any of this to happen when the game was announced way back in October last year. It's turning out to be the best GT ever IMO. Still, I'm not suggesting that the game is perfect. I hope that the racing quality is just as good as the cars...

Yeah. The screenshots from photo-mode and SCAPES are genuinely mind blowing.

I wait for TGS if they show the almost final product (tracks, cars, features). If not, I don't expect GTS to release in November.

Exactly my thoughts, if they don't, definitely delayed.

At least it's a new build at Gamescom, I guess - we don't have proper footage, but a new time of day for the Nurb, the 'rally' track, new cars... I know it's not much, but hey.

The thing I'm most gutted about is the seeming return of indestructible tape barriers on the 'rally' stage. That's just mental in 2016.
