In case anyone complains about the 4C racecar in GTS sounding like a rice rocket, here's the IRL version

My problem with the sound in GTS though is that the vehicle sounds feel too enclosed. In the vid you posted the sounds react to their environment, they don't DO spread out and bounce off of objects. Most of all, there isn't that guttural roar that you tend to hear with racecars. Feels too tame for me in GTS mate.

The samples are sounding correct now and the little additions to sounds are popping up more now but I feel it just needs more life.

I have to say Project CARS , Driveclub to some extent and Forza did what I just mentioned well.

Not entirely relevant though since that is not the car in GTS, the car in GTS is fictional and probably has an entirely different drivetrain and exhaust system. There is no reason the GTS car has to sound like that.

Actually nothing much about VR at all, just some generic waffle that it'll be better on the 'Pro'.

The release date of the Pro is also very close to the GTS date, one would wonder if it was going to be the headline title. Because there was very little first party content otherwise.

The price of the PS4 Pro surprises me though. Didn't expect it to stay below the $400 mark.

My only concern is this: With this variation of console, will devs follow the same approach as Nioh and give us the options to adjust our framerate more for action or rather just oozing cinematic eye candy? Consoles are becoming more and more like PC now. I mean this refresh happened too soon I rate.

Anyways, with GTS, I wonder want PD is doing now.

Actually, now that I remember, Microsoft has this deal where, if you trade in your old Xbox One, you get some cash towards one of the new slim models. I wonder if Sony's gonna do the same thing? If so, it might be worth looking at and seeing how much the difference is. If it's too much then I'll just keep my standard PS4 because it's awesome anyway.

Personally I'd rather see the extra power used for rock solid stability at 60fps and anything left over on things like deformable barriers and other extra physics calculations. If there is one thing GTS doesn't particularly need it's extra graphical fidelity.

Why not both? :)

I mean, they're close to 60fps now, so extra visual sexness must be easy

edit: also, PS4 Pro version at TGS?
