I Definitely wont be Purchasing another GT Game Ever again . Been ripped off and Let down to many Times with PD & Sony Franchise Racers .( it will be full of Bugs and needs fixes and Patches )! Kept waiting months on end .
It was a good Semi Arcade Racer in its Day ,but is old hat Now . Im looking for a bit more immersion and Sim these days .
Its still bumper cars and sounds Terrible from what ive seen so far . It looks Ok ,but it should do now . Sorry GT fans ,but i wont be fooled into buying anymore Japanese - Crap ,FIA involvement will be its saving Grace , everthing else looks the same as all the other Failures .
Anyone who pre orders this Game ,is making a huge mistake. It just sends out the wrong message to the Development Department at PD Sony . You will be left frustrated and let down again ! With a Demo version of the Next one . RIP GT .

* - Included due to it seemingly being the base for the car in GT Sport
I didn't even include the duplicates (R18, E92 M3, etc). Or the Veyron. Or the C7 Vette, since it technically premiered in GT5 (same with the HSV-010). I also didn't include PD-designed cars. For what it's worth, a quick Cmnd+F on the official car list for '09 through to '13 (and ignoring cars added in updates) shows 108 cars, though that skips the NASCAR vehicles, and a few others (the Pikes Peak cars).
Cars so far revealed in GT Sport, following the same criteria (not PD-designed, new to franchise):
Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition '14
Audi R8 LMS (Audi Sport Team WRT) '15
Audi TTS Coupe '15

Obviously, with 48 cars left to be unveiled, there could still be some shake-ups. But considering almost half the new-to-franchise cars in GT Sport so far are PD-designed Gr.x cars, or VGT's, I don't expect many new real-world models to show up, at least at launch.
There's a 2009 base model Evora entering a GT4 series this year? That's brave!
Clearly I wasn't making any sense. Thanks for clarifying. Still, that doesn't make me any less excited for the new vehicles. I had a feeling that I was talking rubbish, don't even know why I bothered...

I got what you meant. It feels like this GT is more 'up to date' than the others imo. There seems to be a good roster of gt3 cars that are not more than a couple of years old. It's still lacking in the wec category, with lmp's and gte's, but who knows what is left to be revealed or added in with dlc. And there's the road cars in it which is another important thing to be up to date with. Still needs work but at least we see some newer road cars from all types of price ranges.
You’re presented with a choice of three cars: a brand new Mazda Miata, McLaren 570S GT, and some sort of futuristic crazy looking white Mazda concept car.
Yeh, I think it's just an error on the reporters (writers/researchers) behalf.
The 3 cars she described (named) are the same as the other VR demos we've seen.
Those being the MX-5, 650S GT3, and LM55.
I'ld be very surprised if it's anything more than getting the McLaren model name wrong in her report.
Given that they've no idea what the Mazda is and couldn't be bothered to check before printing I think it's safe to say they're not a big car person and just mixed the very similar McLarens up.
I don't be trust that. I mean, look at all those other cars around the world that have Gran Turismo stickers on them, yet don't appear in any of the games?

It can be Subaru WRX Gr.4 or Gr.B, which we already saw. I can't see any way to put this car in game with this Group system. Or GTS will have ungrouped cars. Also, this car can be not for GTS.

...Oh, so this is a good news. That Facebook guy has disappeared down the rabbit hole, but now, it seems we have ourselves a capable replacement!!
Everyone, quick!! Inundate him with all the burning questions we have related to GT:S!! I mean, he sounds like a more open guy, less cagey about this and that stuff... Who knows, he might let slip a gold nugget or two when provoked. Like that Subaru on the previous page.
Oh Nelly, this is interesting... I'm now following him. Hopefully his isn't talking bull bull, because I would be pissed if he did. However, he seems like a reputable source... Let's hope so.
Carter Jung worked for Road&Track magazine and Import Tuner magazine before coming to PD, and has numerous ties with tunershops around California... I wouldn't take everything he posts on his Instagram/Twitter/other social media (like that shot of the Ferrari 308) as 100% confirmation that something or other is coming to GTS...
Am i the only one who thinks the gran turismo 4k video should have been the original? I got more exited when i watch the 4k trailer, than when i watched the first gt sport trailer, even though i don't have a ps4 pro or 4k hdr tv.
The exhaust purred loudly behind me and filled up the cabin, just as it would in real life. The game not only had accurate sound effects, but sound effects which changed appropriately. Swerving onto the side of the track, you heard (and kinda felt) the bumps telling you the track was ending, and the sound of tires fishtailing on dirt versus asphalt was distinct and responsive. An issue other racers have is the inability to feel different types of terrain. Gran Turismo Sport does not have this issue – the car handles as it should in real life, and the change in terrains translate without lag.
It has been a very long time since I’ve been excited for a Gran Turismo game. Although always an impressive simulator, it had the Madden syndrome – same ****, different box. Gran Turismo Sport adds so much more. Even the sun shining in my face as I came around the bend felt real. PSVR does such a good job of putting you in the game, you can’t help but wonder if the car seat you’re in was also moving with you. It’s a feeling that’s hard to explain, and an adventure you’ll have to go on yourself.
Hi guys. its been a long time since i last visit here~
Just to update on my friend's impression on GTS @ TAS build~
He said that there are hardly any FFB tyre ffb on the T150~ There are moderate screen tearing during LAN play @ Tokyo Expressway ( sport mode as i see from his videos)
Graphic is massively improved from PS3~ But he mentioned that he saw there are some problem with the livery on the car ( which i dont understand what he meant btw)
And lastly the shadow flickering from GT5/6 era is still there~
Edited : Not sure if he was playing on PS4 pro or normal ps4~ Its the red racing pods
