Nope. Just right.

I see you still are having some issues with this. Someone said this:

Then someone else answered:

But then you said quite a few things like this:

I mean, one would think you saying that CES won't have a game because CES isn't a place to even show off videogames would make the fact that that very videogame is being shown off at CES a contradiction; but I guess that can't compete with your industry buzzwords.

And still you haven't realized that no one said anything about news or announcements. That was the goalposts you kept constructing to claim why it still wouldn't count if GT Sport was at CES (I think probably because you didn't actually know until then what tended to be featured at CES), but that was an argument in your own mind rather than one written by anyone else.
The bar to be cleared was nothing more than "where might we see GT Sport before E3". CES was an answer brought up that you dismissed as not being appropriate as a venue, even just for a presentation. CES is a place that GT Sport is currently being featured, just like previous GT games have in the past, to present VR. The end.

Once again, read what was actually said before attempting reeducation.
So yeah what the point that GTS is present at an event and we dont have any news ?
There are plenty presence of GTS, it s cool it is, and ?
You re right, just like market that have demo pod ? so it doesn't need to be an event, GTS is there all the year, so pointless question. lets be onboard the hype train to E3, to see GTS at demo booth
For me it make sense to ask the presence of GTS for having new stuff or fresh news and not for ghost presence
It s about way of thinking and not understanding
We don't have the same native language, that s why we don't the same way to understand his question

And still, you don't understand what i m saying, never said Video game industry is totally banned from CES, you don't QUOTE the whole sentences, so it means nothing
Just like journalist who try to make headlines ?

That's rather definitive, how can you be so sure.

Just having a look over last year's TAS display. Gazoo Racing showcased the FT-1, Gazoo Racing S-FR concept, as well as the Nurb C-HR, LFA and RC-F racers. LM55, ND Global racers, STI, BRZ GT300(some cars that are in GT6).

We might see some new display cars that could be in GTS.
Gazoo Racing have Prius and Yaris concepts(which, a PDI version, could be competition for the MiTO)
Mazda has a special ND RF.

We'll see in a week's time.

Yea but is that in it like "course maker on launch day, er no soon after launch, oh i have the beta in my hand, surprise heres your course maker if you're still playing it 2 years later, hope you have a tablet" was in GT6? I believe nothing is in the game until the game is released and it's there. I have my doubts about livery editor being in there at launch too or just not very in depth.

You're over thinking this way too much.

A little bit of optimism won't hurt, I for example believe there will be cars in the game at launch.

Adding onto what @Tired Tyres said, it's very unlikely Sony would let one of their few remaining cash cow franchises head to PC, and thus, stop being a system seller.

Not having hardware limitations would arguably be even more of an issue than the current PlayStation exclusive situation. Polyphony always aims past the hardware it's currently working with; can you imagine that translating well to an ecosystem that is constantly updating? GT would end up stuck in a perpetual cycle of planning for the next big thing. :P
Fragmented lol. So how's that G27 and PS4 getting along? Or no backwards compatibility? How about that upscaled 4k? 4k is what PC will do and that's all polyphony has to aim for. They don't have to code within the limitations of a system that changes whenever a new system comes out. C++ will run whether you're on Windows 10 or Windows Vista. Any well coded game, will be able to scale the resolution to what a monitor will display, hence Crysis 1 running at 4k, when the game was developed just as 1080p was becoming something.
To add onto this, Sony barely makes any money selling PS4's. They make their money by licensing and allowing devs to sell games for the PS4. The most Sony can do in terms of money making, is the $60 PS+ subscription and peripherals, but that is the extent of it.

Honestly, premium is what I would LOVE to have. But if we get standard as well I think I would be OK with that.

What kind of car count are we looking at? Did I read somewhere that Kaz said about 400-500?

Definitely looking forward to this game. Still hoping we have just as many cars as in gt5 and 6 though when it's all said and done.

Must admit, car list doesn't really bother me at all. Don't get me wrong the large car lists of 5 and 6 were great and all, but I'd have the smaller car list, balanced with a solid game and a great overall package, as opposed to a mahoosive car list perhaps being used a substitute for other things. GT3 showed that a small car list worked (granted that's 15 years ago and the genre has moved on)

Either way, as you say, I'm definately looking forward to games arrival, that's for sure.

If there are standard cars in GTS I will not be buying it as a matter of principal. There is simply no excuse for that to ever happen again.

The game is set to launch with 140 cars. In the end of GT Sport's lifespan, there will be 400 or 500 cars.
Kaz
“In the end, there will be around 4 to 5 hundred cars. All cars have been re-modeled, and there won’t be standard cars.”

Well, that's the plan at least. Will it actually come true? We'll have to wait and see.

^^ Ban in 3...2...1.

Don't argue with the Mods man.
So having a counter-argument, especially when it's going toward's a mod's argument, is a bannable offense? Lol.

Think we will see standard motorsports also? Or more real world race cars?
There are "real world" cars, but not in the way that you think it'd be. There are some road cars that PD has modified to racing-spec like the Alfa Romeo 4C and the 2016 Subaru WRX STI, and there are legitimate real world cars that have been homologated to the group that they go by. Along with those will be the VGT cars, like the LM55 and the Bugatti VGT. Those two are in the Group 1 class.

In short, yes you'll have real world cars, but there are a few fictional cars thrown in there as well. Whether how many of each we'll have, we won't know until the game's release and as the game progresses from it.
