One thing regards to how the Group N classes are structured.
I don't think it should be based on horsepower, rather it should be based on a power-to-weight ratio - otherwise there will be too many discrepancies and irregularities. To me it seems like a much more desirable prospect in order to ensure that the racing is fair. Examples being a McLaren 650S + Ferrari 488 + Mercedes AMG GT-R, BMW M5 + Dodge Charger Hellcat + Mercedes E63, and a Toyota 86 + Mazda MX-5 + VW Golf GTi.

I can't really get excited about GT anymore, too many disappointments... but GT5, course maker, B-Spec mode, etc all came out eventually and it has been 6 months so...

Ah. Too many false starts to get truly excited.

I just can't help but feel this big news will just have me going, "Really? Really?" and being a little disappointed.

I guess we'll see what we see.

I wouldn't start 100% believing yet but like I said before it would make sense for Sony to wait till Horizon is released and start focusing on GTS news.

Let's see your predictions, I'm really tempted to go summer (last week in June) but I will go with the safer bet of September.

The better eye candy doesn't show through youtube videos anyway. It's like watching an ad for a new TV on your old TV, you can't tell the difference in image quality unless you see it live.

So the real question is: how much better is the pro version?
Well my point is more that the impressions from hands on by people on game shows and the gaming press will be based on it, and so it will give the wrong ideas with regards to the eye candy and how smooth the game actually runs to the majority of PS4 owners that are on the 'amateur' version. That doesn't only count for GTS though, you could see this coming from a mile away when they announced the updated pro console.

You think PCars 2 is only 'septemberish' because they're waiting on this release date announcement too?

@jm79 I asked Ian Bell and he said they don't care when the others will release their game, have a feeling their publisher will.

Nice one for asking him Sems.

And yeah, it makes sense as a publisher to release your driving game as far away as possible from the biggest selling driving game in recent history.

Should be an interesting week...

Another fake car... yay

What is the difference between this and GTA V cars? Sure it looks awesome and it's related in some way to the real motorsport history but I don't feel attached to it, because most of it, is fake. Just like I don't feel attached to GTA V's cars.

When I play with real cars I know that there is at least some depth in it because it is based on a real car and all that comes with it.

@Brend
Well, with the amount of negativity on these pages, particularly with VGTs, "jokes" can be difficult to discern.
The boy who cried wolf, and all that.

I'm fairly sure you knew you would get a bite even before you pressed "post". ;)
Yep, maybe a bit ill advised...

If anything I was praising the car for its futuristic looks.
