Bring back the classic tracks updated! Grand valley, deep forest, ss route 11 and so on. The best update of gt6 was for me the return of midfield raceway. With this kind of tracks, Poly you have gold in your hands because not a lot of games have so iconic fantasy tracks. (You can forget all the original tracks of ps3 era, even more Cape ring :P )
Don't forget swiss alps!! PD is focusing more on WRC and Nascar; there's a HUGE chance to see the good old rally tracks back!! :D

I'd like to see them bring some of the iconic classic tracks back, but I'd like to see them rebuilt so that they're not crippled by the restrictions of the systems that they were built on.

Make them more like real race tracks. Put some bumps and undulation in the road surface. Get rid of invisible walls, and move the barriers further back if that would be appropriate on a real track. Feel free to change up the scenery to something more up to date, GT3/4 made some pretty big updates to what the tracks looked like from the PS1 days and it was great.

What is your view on the last turn of Trial mountain?

GTSport is a spinoff of gran turismo series which is also more focused on motorsport/esport hence it's named GTSport.
I don't care what ridiculous theory you have GTS is NOT GT7 that has been said sooo many times, also even pd said GT7 is not GTS

Yeah, if you say so. I would be flabbergasted if 'GT7' (if that's what it's called) is coming out prior to 2020.
PD's track record for BS and spin speaks for itself.

If it's a wrong thread, sorry then. And maybe it was called by some of us but. Nissan-Nismo confrimed #GTacademy is going this year!! :D

Not sure that's definite confirmation GT Academy is happening again - could be just celebrating what they've achieved with it - but if it is happening, that could possibly be an explanation for the "new announcements got GT6" that @SebiGT89 found out:

, we have a lot of others parties to negotiate with, so it takes time. Once more details are finalised (hopefully soon) we´ll make new announcements for GT Sport and GT6

I can't think of an obvious reason why GT Sport wouldn't be ready to host GT Academy given the plans for the beta, but you never know.

If they're focusing on motorsport, they should only have real tracks for GTS. Leave the old GT tracks for the next game.

The "chicane" one? Depends what you want it to be.

If you want it to be a skill test of whether the driver can hit that fast line where you can almost take it flat out, then I think you take the hill off the right side and make it run-off/gravel trap, but you put high kerbs on the apex to unsettle/launch cars that are slightly off-line. Make the grass on the left a gravel trap too, or maybe just bring the wall up closer to the track. Cars that are significantly off-line either side should end up in the gravel trap and be slowed that way.

The way it is now where it throws cars that screw up back onto the racing line is not ideal, and I'd want to stop bombing across the grass on the left as a viable strategy too without resorting to arbitrary penalties. We all know that penalty systems rarely work well in racing games, so if I can design the track so that they're not necessary so much the better.

If you want it to be a proper chicane and passing opportunity, I think you can leave the hill there if you want. It'd be a perfect place for a grandstand. Move the first corner further over to the right and probably square it off a bit so that it's much slower and you can't bomb the chicane like you can now. You might need a few metres behind the white line on the first corner just to give people who out-brake themselves somewhere to go, but it'd probably be fine. Set it up so that the first part is a braking zone passing opportunity, and the rest of the chicane is giving the defending driver a chance to come back. You still need gravel pit/wall on the left to stop the dive bombing across the grass.

Personally, I'd go with making it a passing opportunity. There's a similar skill test of line through the first and second corners so you don't really need two back to back, and there's more around the rest of the track. It could probably do with one more technical passing opportunity that isn't just slamming it down the inside.

There's a few sections on that track that I think could do with touching up. The general layout of the track and the idea behind it are very good, but I think there are a few areas that could be tweaked to make the racing and/or the driving better without taking away from the character of the track.

It is a fantasy track. They can make it as hilly and bumpy as they want to, or not
I'd like the spots that left you airborne smoothed, but the track otherwise nearly identical.
But I think GTS might only be real tracks, maybe Midfield and something else fictional. Just a guess.

The GT rally tracks are on the whole nothing of the sort, they are head to head rally cross stages at best.

If they want to recreate what stages are actually like they need to be point to point, a lot, lot longer and much, much narrower (they need to take a look at what Dirt Rally and Seb Loeb Rally have done).

Yeah, rallying seems like it took a step back in GT6

@Imari , do you think Apricot Hill and Mid-Field need any changes in their current state as of GT6? I kinda like that Mid-Field feels abit bigger environment wise (as in actually having some visual proportion) but still fells like its old self.

It should be on PS4 and they only need to prepare 1,2 tracks and 2,3 cars for GT Academy, but it's PD... If they can't prepare GTS beta early 2016,this can happen for GT Academy too.
Remember GT6 demo was also GT academy 2013. Maybe they would do that again for PS4 💡. But also they can do GT academy for ps3 as well, to have more players :)

I'd guess their primary concern is moving PS4's and getting GT players onto the new platform. If it's at all technically possible, it'll be on the PS4 without a doubt.

First part would make sense, have an online demo in the store and people can download it and do all the challenges as usual while experiencing possibly new physics (if that happens), easily generating interest in a PS4 GT game. Second part wouldn't though, people want a new GT n the PS4 (as would Sony, more sales for said console) so that would not be a wise decision.

I had got an e-mail from Gran Turismo. They are finalising the details of the beta test but they are not allowed announce anything at this moment, and it's also not a correct moment for announce the releasing time of the chinese version in Mainland、Hongkong and Taiwan
