Really quickly, in one of the last few videos I saw a page on wheel support in the settings menu, does anyone remember what they were? Thinking about buying a wheel and I would certainly like it if it were supported by GTS
I don't think you should call the GTS wheel direct drive yet, nobody knows yetAFAIK I see T150, T300RS, T500RS and G29 supported
Should've waited for the official GTS Direct Drive wheel instead, if you have enough money that is
Kaz has said directly to GTP that the wheel is Direct drive.I don't think you should call the GTS wheel direct drive yet, nobody knows yet
That has been disputed because of the language barrierKaz has said directly to GTP that the wheel is Direct drive.
Hoping for a new Aygo. xD
Maserati confirmed? The Maserati in the real-world and in Gran Turismo is fast, but, and this is key, it doesn't feel that way when you're driving...
...So when we switch from a fairly calm Maserati...
"This is rally in the truest sense"
I think even now we saw more than 100 scapes. Obviously a typo."Just set the location, the lighting, the colouring and you're good to go. The same goes for 100 more locations at launch including, for example, Monument Valley."
I hope the bolded bit is a typo... but it might be suggesting that 100 Scapes are coming at launch and the remaining 900 as DLC/updates...
Lots of articles on mainstream medias with GIF of GTSport. Nothing about gameplay, netcode or "sim value", only about how gorgeous the game is (in replay). And comments from non fans of racing games who say they will buy it, first and foremost, because it's beautiful.Meh. They may be arguably the worst at making sims, but they've always been arguably the best at visuals. At least in technical terms when given unlimited hardware (*cough*PS3*cough*).
The game looks stunning. Absolutely incredible. However, in the modern era where even small developers can make games that are at least good looking enough that it's not distracting, I question the value of looking stunning. Driveclub also looked stunning, but it wasn't until they got the gameplay right that it actually became a pretty good game.
However, I do think that with how good GTS looks all it has to do is not be mediocre in all other areas. The visuals will carry it as long as there isn't anything else intrusively bad.
Is that a problem? Some people really crack me up why can't people like the game for the graphics? Or I heard why they wasting time with pbotomode etc? What ever brings you to any racing series in my opinion is whats it's about. When I first start playing GT it was mainly for all the cool cars I can drive... it didnt care about physics or tuning... as i got more into the game it actually help me get into motorsports a lot more. Every game has a main feature. I bought AC and PC because of of everyone raving about the physics and I was not let down...Lots of articles on mainstream medias with GIF of GTSport. I think the main reason GT edges Driveclub's visuals is simply the physics, how do physics affect visuals?
Driveclub's unrealistic car movement sort of take away from the realism and shows that this is infact a video game. GT is the exact opposite, car move as you'd expect so you're not taken out of the illusion, coupled with the much better replay angles than Driveclub (DC's replays are far inferior) GT's overall visual presentation looks the winner.
Outside of replays though, it is still up for debate but I'll still give it to DC because of the dynamic environment.
That plus the fact DC in the rain looks 100% photorealistic and still to this day blows my mind.
Thoughts?
@jm79 I seriously doubt they will get close to DC's rain but I can't wait to see it.

What do you expect when its a closed beta with the bare minimum of people getting lucky to be invited, and then coming on GTP and giving us information? Then take in consideration on how many people actually have wheels to give you us proper feedback. The problem is the amount of attention graphics are getting versus everything else. Some of us want to know more about other areas of the game. Personally, I don't care about how stunning Sport looks since Gran Turismo has always looked great (minus standard cars).

Slip I feel you but many people want to know about the feedback with the wheel. I was never saying in general I was talking about the wheel strictly. Folks have given feedback with the controller. I want to know at the same time, its so rare just to get an invite so the chances of getting a invite and having a wheel are extremely low thats all im saying."Proper" feedback can (and should) be given on pad too: it's what the vast majority of players will be using.
Kaz has said directly to GTP that the wheel is Direct drive.
From a few things i have come across on the net by people who have hada close look at it, they're positive it isn't a direct drive wheel.AFAIK I see T150, T300RS, T500RS and G29 supported

A direct answer would suffice.
