How do you get into the private forum? Everytime I try and login it just loads a totally blank page, is it only avalible through the game?

It sounds like the keys for game access and forum access are being managed separately, and so a lot of folks are not able to get into the forums.

You of course need to login using the same PSN your beta key is associated to, but if you don't have rights access to the forum, you won't be able to see it.

ah ok, fair enough... I logged into it with the psn acc that has beta access so but if they are gating the forums and the beta seperatly then I guess it makes sense I can't see it.


Have to say, in general I'm really loving the beta it's been really enjoyable racing folks and trying to manage my SR points aswell as trying to maximse finishing positions. I think the only issue is visability is really poor in cockpit view, if someone is coming up along side you, you don't really know where they are and the right stick is so twitchy you can't use it to glance into your mirrors

If you're in the US and have no way to drive, how did you unlock it?

I unlocked it last night. After I finished Race A N300 the event blacked out. I figured they would have fixed it by now.

I need some help with getting of the grid quickly. I have decent enough qualifying times to sometimes start from the first grid position, but every single time I get overtaken by 7 cars before the first corner. This is on the 2nd track (Dragon Trail), the effect isn't that large on the Nürburgring with the faster cars.

I've tried several things, holding down throttle with maxed traction control, waiting till 'go' and feathering the throttle slowly, etc. nothing seems to help. I swear if this is some kind of special timing thing that gives you a boost.......

Perhaps it's the default car I use? Nobody seems to be using the one I have. I couldn't race on the weekend and it has only been giving me cars for the Nürburgring class. :/

The AWD cars have a distinct advantage off the line, the GT-R's in Gr.4 and the Lancers in N300 in particular.

So if you are getting eaten up by those, you are not alone.

What car are you using?

And have you done much tuning?

I have the Scirocco Gr.4 and yeah most of the other cars are using the Corvette C7, GT-R or Mégane, so that AWD thing might be it but still it feels like I'm really slow of the line.

I didn't do much tuning as I don't really know a lot about what things do. I only lowered the max top speed to just above hitting the limit on the fasted straight and a few tweaks to make it turn better. Perhaps there's something possible with the 1st/2nd gear ratios but I try not mess with that, not knowing how to make it better.

Wait, how do you use the Scirocco on the Big Willow track? I can only select one car for Big Willow and that's the Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track '13. Or were there different races on the weekend?

Right, that was when different races were being run. But I've had good feedback from a couple of different drivers on that setup for Dragon Trail, so it should work fine.

With all these new tracks and the expanded beta, with thousands of people playing the game across the world, surely we are super close to release, no?

Unless they're going for a big showcase and surprise 'available now!' announcement at E3.

Also, never driven Interlagos in any game - super happy about that one!
