Anyone see this? For any lifelong GT fans that didn't get the beta invite, I could think of a few ways to go as far as making a video.

I heard about it this past week. I wondered why GTP didn't post an article notifying people about it. I figured they weren't thinking it's worth mentioning. That thing does look like it could have potential though. Probably not.
The people at the end of the video put me off from going to those sorts of events (aside from E3 or Gamescom, proven events). Flippin baffoons. The one guy sounds like the "Bro" of gamers.
The rating system is good. Without it, there isn't the benefit of improving the online experience. It's not going to cause more harm than good.It sounds like your biggest gripe here is BoP.
And yes, there does seem to be a few select cars that need reviewing.
Perhaps the system will be improved, perhaps it won't.
Who knows?
Even now it is clearly going to be a massive step forward compared to the random GT6 Quickmatch.
And I'm confident it will provide much better racing.
Sure, some people will game the system.
Some people will game any system.
I'm not claiming it's perfect.
I'm simply suggesting we wait for the final game and give it some time for people to land in their classes before calling doom and gloom.
I don't see why so many people are talking about it as if it's never going to work. It's not going to be perfect and it isn't intended to fix people. It's here to make online competition more reliable. Just find exploits and figure out the issues, report them and it will help PD to modify this system. I don't think it's possible to make it anywhere near as great as some people wish for.
