I am aghast. I never thought I'd see the day!!! There's hope for this franchise yet! What the 🤬? Is that an option? Is PD feeling alright?

Wow! That dude waving the Green Flag on the left-side, behind the armco...That is cool as 🤬!! Although, is that a static animation? Is that dude always waving a green flag when you pass him at that spot? Do the colors change? Like, is it possible to drive past that dude and he's waving a Yellow Flag? If he's always waving a Green Flag, then...m'eh.What the 🤬? Is that an option? Is PD feeling alright?

Oh, and who the heck is using the Chase Cam to play GTSport?I like to use it as a training tool when watching my replays, but that's it. I don't know how the heck people can drive with that view. Are they human or do they possess a special power I'm not aware of?

Haven't seen that yetI don't know, with the massive BRAKE text blinking, that you can't remove..![]()

Haven't seen that yet. Two steps forward, one step back I guess..

We'll see how all the changes play out in the next few days but I wouldn't have predicted PD would make any changes based on fan feedback to begin with, so I'm a little more optimistic than I was yesterdayIn relative terms, if the flashing BRAKE sign is a step back the improvements in the likes of the physics, graphics and, potentially, the BoP are two giant leaps forward for mankind.
I'm sure PD will receive enough negative feedback about it to at least offer the option to turn the annoying feature off.
That is sweet!! Those types of things... That's what I like to see. Way to go, PD!! Could you please send over the source code & graphics assets to Kunos Simulazioni. Thanks PD! 👍When you go off track or some cars in front of you they are waving yellow flags.
Once danger over they wave green flag.
And after the the green flag sector if there's no incident they don't wave any flag anymore obviously.
The dudes are completely animated.
It's a little nice detail
GT Sport is eye candy catching for sure, but really don't impress me....That is sweet!! Those types of things... That's what I like to see. Way to go, PD!! Could you please send over the source code & graphics assets to Kunos Simulazioni. Thanks PD! 👍![]()

I find that driveclub achieved a real high level in graphics details...
In GT Sport we have guys waving flags...but we don't have skidmarks or the lights of the cars doesn't iluminate the tarmac, track sides or the other cars or full virtual wheel rotation.
What i love in Assetto is how sharpe and clean the image is...you can really see far into the next bends....
The color pallette i prefer the one in Assetto also.
If i do should take something from GT and copy paste it on assetto it's the illumination.
Hopefully PD improves in tyre model, damage, physics, collision physics, sounds, ffb because they are still quite behind the competence.
It's a fun game, but i would say its like a driveclub allowing to setup your car a bit.
From driver rating i was expecting a lot more also...on the little oval circuit i just done one race....its a real rating level killer...
Needs realy a looooot of work.
With the development team they got and financial means.....after practically 4 years of development.... It let me quite cold.
Their fictional vision cars as the Peugeot hasn't still not even the cockpit modeled...
yes indeed. there is a bug reporting-/suggestion site for usQuestion: How does criticism work for you beta players? Do you guys list all of your problems in a "feedback" section for GT Sport on an exclusive webpage or what?
What the 🤬? Is that an option? Is PD feeling alright?
Yes I'm serious, assetto has a really clean and sharpe image... What's realy nice in a sim game and useful when you look to the next bend.I'm not sure if you're being serious or not, but AC really doesn't look that good for a current gen game. At all.

Well, it's quite early still to give a good analysis, cause it's a beta and i don't know the improvement level it will achieve in the final release. How do you like the physics/behavior of the few cars you've been able to drive, @Donnced? How do the cars feel on the road? I respect your opinion. You would make an excellent Quality Assurance employee/manager. You have a good eye for spotting the good and the bad everywhere. I know you've posted a desire to see improved tire model, physics & force feedback...but is there anything specific about "driving" cars in GTSport that you're just not enjoying? Or is it too early to give a comprehensive analysis? After all, I know this is still technically a beta version and the number of cars & tracks available is quite limited at this point.
Thanks 👍Did you read the post? Image clarity and colour palette were specifically mentioned. I'm assuming @Donnced means the default palette though, since there's multiple options. That's something I wish more games offered: I know AC and Driveclub do, but what other games offer filters like that?
I'd tend to agree that AC has a more natural palette to GT Sport's over-contrasted, bloom-everywhere approach. For me, it's what adds to the immersion once you're in the heat of setting a fast lap. That said, the environments are utterly lifeless, to the extent they even make GT's usually clinical atmosphere feel warm and inviting. That unfortunately has the opposite effect on immersion levels, for me anyway.

But globally, while driving in GT is fun, i find it to forgiving.. Smash down gears and nothing will happen, even Street sport tyres have lot of grip... If the car loose his balance.. With a little throttle lift it's corrected.
In Assetto you have to be more careful with the weight and balance of the car.
Pianos, astroturf...sandbanks, grass..All to forgiving when you touch them or go offroad.
I really would say that the game is focused to a great audience to make everyone happy... From little boys to mature men.
After been driving assetto, it's quite complicated to analyse FFB...kunos really did a great job on that... And i find that the one GT Sport offers is weaker and less detailed.
Hope that they improve it quite more for the final version.
Globally, it's a funny game with some "sim" basics...a good entry level.
But now I'm personally in a phase that i look forward for more complex and higher levels of simulations.
Thank you!yes indeed. there is a bug reporting-/suggestion site for us
Used the cockpit view for the first time tonight after the improvements to the cockpit lighting. How horrible is the cockpit movement. I look past my steering wheel and see the dashboard moving as I turn. And once I saw it I couldn't unsee it. Just couldn't drive well after that. They need to give us options to change all of these things, fov, seat position, world movement, head movement etc. It's bloody 2017 for gawd's sake!
I hope so because if I can't turn it off I won't be able to drive in cockpit.Don't you think this will be available in the final release? sure! Cannot imagine PD will forget this.
Yep me also. I want to be able to adjust the fov and seat position. In some cars you cannot see the tip of the hood now and want to raise my seat. I cannot help it I'm only 6ft tallI hope so because if I can't turn it off I won't be able to drive in cockpit.
That's similar to how I feel about Assetto Corsa. I've just been playing it today and I noticed that the environment for each track feels a bit empty. Something is missing in the environments and I couldn't put my finger on it.That said, the environments are utterly lifeless, to the extent they even make GT's usually clinical atmosphere feel warm and inviting. That unfortunately has the opposite effect on immersion levels, for me anyway.
If PD improves on the physics as such, I hope they also keep it controller friendly. After been driving assetto, it's quite complicated to analyse FFB...kunos really did a great job on that... And i find that the one GT Sport offers is weaker and less detailed.
Hope that they improve it quite more for the final version.
That is a screenshot from me,unedited, i don't would say that it's "old gen".
GT Sport is nice looking? Yup, but didn't impress me...for me in "eye candy" and details the driveclub game is still the benchmark on PS4.
Has GT ever had FOV adjustments?Don't you think this will be available in the final release? sure! Cannot imagine PD will forget this.
