I just bought Grid Legends over the weekend for the PS5. The deluxe version was on sale until Friday I believe and I didn't pull the trigger. SO I bought the regular version and paid the deluxe update. It was about the same price. Anyway this is a fun game! I have enjoyed the story mode. A little bit overtop but enjoyable nonetheless. I have noticed there is some rubberbanding with the AI but other than it funs making nemesises. Any time I have at least 3 to 4 enemies. All of the cars so far seem to handle differently which good

I have been a bit the last couple of days doing the story mode and I find it rather funny in this game how parts just fall off after too many hits. I was racing Valentin Manzi at Mt. Panorama and I was trailing him after he slammed into my and I noticed a piece of car fall off when I got by him I noticed that the drivers side door came off and my children and I just bust out laughing at that because he was just driving like it was still there. Crazy stuff to me.

And then there‘s PD who want to make us believe, the manufacturer doesn‘t allow any damage on their cars…lazy muppets

Picked this up in a deal in a local toy store. Having way more fun with it than I expected after my less than positive first impressions from the initial trial. The story is goofy but quite fun, the racing is pretty decent after racing GT7s slowbots for 200 hours and it's just a good bit of old fashioned fun.

It has been fun. GT7 is fun to me as well but it is a different kind of fun from Grid Legends. I enjoyed the story mode but it was almost like Driver 22 is insignificant to the story but Driver 22 does most of the heavy lifting. But that is just me. I finished the story last night now I have to figure what I want to do first in the career mode.

I’m enjoying it too! I am slowly progressing through the career mode. I really enjoy the racing, especially with a wheel. I hope the DLC is announced soon and is substantial.

It's been over 2 months since the game release and we haven't got any single piece of new content.
Did the game bomb or something?
Not only that, I just found out that they have put the DLC season pass on sale in the store before they've even released any DLC! That's completely unacceptable for anyone who purchased this at the time of release and paid full price. A very low level to stoop to this even for EA.

Will there be bug fixes for the sponserships that don't complete like beat Rick Scott in 4 open wheel races? And the Nemis(sp) not correctly resetting?

DLC is on the way, hopefully we can share news soon 🙂

In other news, Mac port:

Hi @PJTierney , how do EA/Codies justify the season pass/deluxe upgrade being reduced and discounted before any DLC has been released? It's a kick in the teeth for anyone supporting the game from launch.

I get it being reduced at some stage as am incemtive offer but a 50% decrease on steam for example before anything has been released to people who paid full price for it is shocking.

That is a good point and I just realized that. We paid for the deluxe edition for full price but yet we're not even getting DLC.

Hiya, did you (or anyone else) get the dd pro working OK with this?

I used ps5 wheel mode but steering felt really slow. Tried calibrating full lock in game at different degrees, but couldn't get it to feel OK.

Are there any fanatec wheel profile settings? Tried googling, can't find anything...

Or is it one of those games where you have to use controller?

I don‘t have it,still on the fence…

Although a fun content pack is welcome, I rather see some more touring and classic content. This is such an enjoyable game and the AI IS challenging on legend. It depends from class to class though. One of those rare addictive titles. Such a shame it doesn't get more traction under racing fans.

It is very addictive and an enjoyable arcade racing game, it's just missing something with progression to keep you coming back which is such a shame.
