GRID LEGENDS

Honestly, I have yet to see a truly "next gen" game form any platform/genre. Graphics? 4K and VR were achieved in the past generation. Higher resolutions at faster fps? Not revolutionary, is just a matter of power and Moore's law does that periodically. Playing from special SSDs for faster access and performance?, ok, that has been neat, but other than that, we have the same controllers, the same interfaces, the same IA...

IMO Grid Legends is actually an updated Grid Autosport, which is fine.
I’m playing on ps4 pro and do not feel like I’m missing out with ps5, laws of diminishing returns and nothing like the jump we saw with previous consoles

All I want from Codemasters is for the next GRID game to support VR. It took them years to finally cave in a put it into F1 2022, so hopefully they will capitulate and bring it to grid as well.

If F1 still have same engine, it could be possible. The problem is nobody plays Grid. I am not sure why, maybe steep pricing is a bit problematic.

Firing on all cylinders 👍

Man oh Man....when on earth are they gonna patch the sponsorship and Campaign progression bugs for this game? Finished the Gauntlet and still shows 0/9 events completed.
I see what you mean. That should be an easy fix. Wish they would get on with it.

That would be a 4.40 GB update (for Xbox Series S). The addition of fog and dust may hint locations for the upcoming upgrades... How about the addition of Yas Marina and Laguna Seca (dusty) and some European tracks/cities for the fog?

EDIT: I'm happy to report that the circuit race I created in San Francisco at night with fog looks gorgeous, where the fog starts really thick near the bay, and it clears a bit when you get at the top of the circuit (Cathedral/Chinatown), and then thickens again.

I have noticed that the track does get gradually slicker during dust storms, but you have to run a fairly long race for it to become really noticable. After 5 laps at Mount Panorama the lot of the AI cars were definitely having a bad time and struggling to stay on the racing line.

They still didn’t fix the sponsorship objective progression?
About half of my sponsorships now show complete. The other half, where I had met or exceeded all objectives by completing 5/4 races ahead of chosen competitors for instance, no longer show as complete. Likewise, the Avax sponsorship now shows as locked even though I had previously completed every single sponsership prior to the patch.

Nice, it looks like we're getting something similar to PCars 3 rivals events - very addictive!
Hopefully you won't be forced to see ghosts like in PC3. I'm fine with seeing them being an option but hopefully you can turn them off. They were very distracting to me, especially with three weaving about simultaneously.
