Speaking of Driving School , there are some obvious cases where people have times not normally reachable.
Driving School #8 for example in the Roadster @ Brands Hatch GP
My time is 13.075
the top 10 are:
12.900
12.976
13.024
13.044
13.065
and 5x 13.066
Thus the top 4 times are very suspicious
And #21
17.990 - Again , Impossible time?
18.160
18.187
18.205
18.285
#24 Likely glitched times and/or grip bug
38.498 S/S driver
38.593
42.464
42.778
43.066
43.620
43.675
43.742 - My time
#25 Top 2 are Impossible times
15.856
16.152
17.066
17.103
and so on
#35 Impossible times
12.978
13.028
14.809
and so on
Pretty sure the bug has nothing to do with the tires
Are you sure about that? Because it seems like a problem with tyre grip.Pretty sure the bug has nothing to do with the tires
Quick question: do we know already if this bug affects FIA races too?
Are you sure about that? Because it seems like a problem with tyre grip.
It does.
If it affects one online mode, it will affect them all. It's tied to physics.Who confirmed this? I mean, what player?

FIA races, being on their own servers, could eventually make the cars the same for everyone independently of a player's progress (they only need liveries and drivers profiles that are not saved in the same file of the bug apparently). That's why I'm asking. Because I haven't seen a race yet of a player affected by the issue winning an FIA race.

You sound like a don, grip busters faction. 👍I think it's important people don't go out looking at the top 10 times trying to find people that might have this bug, the leaderboards are already being pretty closely monitored by a good number of people who know what they are looking for and have a lot of experience doing and looking at top times. If you think we have missed something and you think a lap is questionable it might be better to send a PM to myself, @GT_Alex74, @zzz_pt or any of the other experienced drivers in this thread and we can have a look for you (probably best to message me as I have people in every region that know what they are looking for and can check/record for me if it's not a European time). I don't think it helps anyone for this thread to devolve into calling out every scruffy lap in the top 10 especially if you don't particularly know what you're looking for or can tell the difference between a bugged lap and a normal lap. But that's just my opinion, not sure if others would agree.
I've watched the lap and it seems completely normal.
Massive downforce would slow acceleration and top speed. It's not that as it doesn't correlate with the behavior that's been seen. What about an error in aerodynamics? Massive downforce all the time could explain the late braking, good cornering and accelerating.

Could you ask if they have the same reset to auto transmission bug that @RA1784 had?
@GTPorsche @zzz_pt
I mean what if downforce is always like on top speed and doesnt decreese when slowing down? You must have tons of downforce even in slow sections.
But the acceleration should be slower
Well we will see what happens. Hopefully he sees that he really does have the bug and decides to help you guys out. (Or maybe he proves us wrong, who knows?)
