I believe you need the A license to join the online races. As for cars, the ones Luiz posted are a good basis. A couple of GR3, and GR4 is good enough. Most of our races are with untuned cars.OK , please bear with me. Just got a Thrustmaster 80 wheel and pedals. Relearning everything, kludgy set up, good enough for now. CANNOT get through WTC 600, have (with controller) been up to 1st place in a detuned Ford GT40 (my fave of all time). Couldn't get it through Suzuka very well or Interlagos. Now trying a BMW, Alfa, etc. Can't seem to get good pickup because of the power restictor and ECU to make 599.xx. Suggestions? Keep trying different tunings? Been to PRAIANO'S, and some others. For the club meet ups, seems like I should have more licenses and some Group cars?
Thank you!
Thank you! Luiz posted about the online race cars for the club, correct? Any advice for that WTC 600? I know sometimes it’s a grind, like when you guys were going through various setting trials.I believe you need the A license to join the online races. Hi @DavidBAZ , are you asking about the WTC 600 Championship that is in one of the menu books? If so, it’s been a while since I did that, so I re-ran it this morning. The Nissan R34 GT-R tuned to 596 pp was enough to win all 3 races and the Championship. Nice payout too, 260,000 credits including clean race bonus in all 3. Sweet!Any advice for that WTC 600?
Wow! Now can you share some tuning advice? Intermediate tires for the Red Bull in the rain? Any particular set up for Suzuka? Or Interlagos? My challenge has been, by the time I detune to below 600, every car is a pig. The AI just walks away. I have, with a controller, been in 1st place on Red Bull. Didn’t finish there! With the wheel and pedals and manual shift, I feel slow to accelerate, long distance to slow for turns and very dicey in corners. Maybe try some controller assist? Traction? Something else? Thanks!Hi @DavidBAZ , are you asking about the WTC 600 Championship that is in one of the menu books? If so, it’s been a while since I did that, so I re-ran it this morning. Ran the same setups for all 3 races, on sports soft tires. Hope this helps. Now can you share some tuning advice? Intermediate tires for the Red Bull in the rain?
Thank you! Off work in a couple hours (night shift RN), will try this set up for a few minutes. More time after the week is over!Ran the same setups for all 3 races, on sports soft tires. Hope this helps. View attachment 1132445View attachment 1132446

OK I tried, briefly, with a SIMILAR car, didn’t buy that exact one for 450k. Tried those settings as close as could be done. And used a controller. Like I say, quick check. Wasn’t a contender, is it possible that I need that exact car? Will say, these settings kept the car on the track well, just need more acceleration. Will try with the wheel next. Do I need some assist or controller setting changes? Thank you!Ran the same setups for all 3 races, on sports soft tires. Hope this helps. View attachment 1132445View attachment 1132446
I couldn’t remember which car I used for that championship, being a geezer and all that. Went back into my gallery and found this evidence.OK I tried, briefly, with a SIMILAR car, didn’t buy that exact one for 450k. Tried those settings as close as could be done. And used a controller. Thanks Eric for sharing this S/U. I'm going to try it myself. I believe I used the Nissan R34 with a set up Super GT (a YouTuber) shared in one of his YT license test upgrades. The R34 was of course built to just under the 600pp rules, was pretty easy to drive and earned that credit payout in around 1/2 half hour, perhaps less.I couldn’t remember which car I used for that championship, being a geezer and all that. So I used the 2020 GR Supra for that championship. Used a controller back on March 8th when I first did it. Sorry to have given you the previous info, and so glad you didn’t purchase the R34 GT-R because you will win it a couple of menu books after the one you’re stuck on.
Setup for the GR Supra.

Wow Cory, bought out and closing the doors? Is it another box company that wanted the customer base? You're a good employee, perhaps they'll see your worth and find a place for you. Bright side --You probably wouldn't have to count boxes once a week.Yesterday at work we found out we’ve been bought out. Closing doors end of December. 22, almost 23 years.
Sorry to hear this, dude. Always a shock no matter how long you have worked for a company.Yesterday at work we found out we’ve been bought out. Closing doors end of December. 22, almost 23 years.

Sorry, posted without finishing, Forum is...quirky on the iPhone. I CANNOT stay on the track in the rain without Intermediate tires. So I put them on my Nissan, which is not the exact model. Had some 'close enough' settings, again, not the same model. Got a quick 5th place at rainy Red Bull with a controller. Couldn't keep it on the track at Suzuka, so back to Settings. Going to keep grinding away, someday I'll post that I finished this series. Someday...Meanwhile, thanks to everyone for all the suggestions. Thanks Eric for sharing this S/U.
