I said out loud, this is just more garbage. And I’m referring to the guy that wrote that.

I play and drive and have my fun.

Don’t like what it is? Don’t play it.

I’ve spent plenty on vinyl albums, not all are worth the price. Guess what? One timers. I don’t cry about it to the band. Or etc.
I found his write up to be pretty much spot on. Individual play is fun but we didn't necessarily buy the game for individual play. We got excited, bought the game more for playing together in our Geezer Club races 3 times a week than for the single player fun. So far each of the 3 days we've played GT7 together has not been the fun for some of us it was in previous edition of the game. I'm not interested in grinding away trying to figure out what part goes where to make the car compliant with the desired performance points. I want to join my Geezer friends, select the type car we want to race and do exactly that, race. I'll join in and race when the venue works for me otherwise I'll just hang out and visit until a race comes up I can.

Just for kicks, I have RH tires and other additions with computer set to 71 to yield 649.xx PP. Horsepower was 270. Put SH tires on with computer set to 100 to give 642.91PP at 414HP.
Went to Daytona oval to test the two setting sheets.
RH tires 649.xxPP = 55.xx best lap
SH tires 642.xxPP = 48.xx best lap
Next test a road course.
Went to Dragon Trail the sport hard tires laps were half a second slower than the RH. An equal PP rating and a better driver would have better results with the sport hard. Point is I don't know what to think of PP ratings. Clearly, they don't work where mixed tires on an oval are concerned. Go for higher horsepower seems to be indicated.

Well, i did the same testing in interlagos and the SH tires were 6 seconds slower, all with the same PP

So, we get incomplete on-line functions, but we get an out-of-this-world easter egg? Thanks.
Guess we know where PD’s priorities lie. Boneheads!! 👎👎👎👎👎

So far we’ve seen rocket launches near Daytona, kangaroos and UFOS at Panorama, so what will be next? Perhaps we will discover where Jimmy Hoffa is! Or maybe find the treasure at Oak Island!:lol:

Here’s my setup:

It’s the Trial Mountain Cup, at the bottom of the World Circuits screen. A pair of 2 lap races, 30,000 each with CRB, plus 40,000 for winning the championship. 100,000 real quick, and fun races too.
Thank you Eric,, indeed it is. Played that race three times this morning and will do it again this afternoon.100,000 for a few minutes builds my depleted credits REAL QUIK! I spent that 1M they gave us on used cars and upgrades, wiped out my account in just a few heartbeats! Now I'll be doing that Trial Mtn race a ton until they (PD) scrub the payout like they have the other quick credits events they found out about.

I used Trial Mountain to grind for all "cheap" cars of 300k credits or less, including the Nissan Hardtop, in Legends. I will wait to see how to grind for more expensive cars after the next update, and, in the meantime, will keep up with any more used cars, so that they don't slip through my fingers.

I hope this link works because this is the way a cobra should sound! Turn it up.

Ohh yeah!! That little bit of sound led me to this short clip of a dude who for sure knows his Cobra and can DRIVE his hotrod like I wish I could have back when I was a pup. Imagine it is YOU wheel'n this thru the cones,, think you can or could have at one time in your life? No? Me neither. I would have had it thru the cones sideways at the first corner 😁

In both of those videos, the driver doesn't get aggressive on the gas until he is pointed down a straight. Maybe we struggle because we get on the gas too soon. It could also be because GT's differential breaks the outside wheels free first, too, which makes it difficult to control the rear end. GT7 is doing the same thing.

Yeah, and they’re driving venomous snakes that will bite hard if mishandled. Massive respect! Oh, not wanting to trash a $1,000,000 (or more) classic is also a big factor.
