YES! At last: leaderboards with no tuning!
Even so, all the leaders are (for me at least) completely impossible to get near. Best i've got is joint 12th on one, but that was 20 odd minutes ago so I don't hold much hope there (12000 tomorrow).
But my real point is Leaderboards.
Oh yeah, and the Nurburgring one with 2 opponents is very annoying.
Having fun with it though, overall.
Edit: and a little woo 'cos it's in 3D.. WOO!

The last challenge with the Silvia is pretty fun. Managed to creep into the top 10. You have to be cheeky with the other car though.
Can't see myself spending too much time with this after tomorrow. There's no real incentive to keep coming back since some of those challenges are extremely monotonous. If you want me I'll be in GT5 hopefully racing the Silvia around the ring with a few people from here.

I think it's pretty darn annoying that when you improve your time it doesn't update the leader boards right away, so when you return to the UI for the particular event and it tries to post your time and there are connection problems it ditches your time

Wow my best times (and i made only no more than 2 to 6 per round) were with the Silvia and currently one of my best times was in the last round in Nurburgring and i managed to achieve #108 in the world. To me is great to stay at least close to the top skilled players. Using G27, ABS 1, manual gearbox and no more assistances not even the racing line. The wheel is also set to simulation and FFB 5 as i have it already in GT5.
The Leaf tests are "harder" at least to get better times but i only tried a couple of times on each just to see if i could do better. And 1-3 round was a little bit tedious (the unique that i couldn´t gold in the first try lol)

Well I love this kinda stuff and I'm probably going to be addicted for hours, my aim is to be top 10 on the leaderboard in all of them I know the tricks of the first few rounds, and I've been ahead of the lead ghost car by some margin on rounds 3 and 4 but its just putting it together haha

OK, sorry if this question has been asked before but I haven't found a definitive answer yet. Just tried to access it through the Australian PSN Store but found nothing, so I presume you can only access it through a UK account? Also, why in the official PD screenshot did they include countries unable to access this?

Thursday is usually the day they release everything (movies, games, downloads, cinema releases)over here. So it will probably be out then
Agreed. But then again it might give those who don't have GT5 do experience the game. These tests, from what I heard, try to achieve 'real driving simulator' status
GT5 is a lot bigger than 8GB, that's just the download/install part.

Best one so far was the Nürburgring; four-wheel drift around the outside of the lead opponent felt good! 
Not especially fast, and lots of time to find in Schwalbenschwanz, but that can wait.
I hope they get a bit harder early on, though. The skill barrier is so low that the top times will eventually all be the exact same, and position will be afforded simply on a first finished, first ranked basis, or something!
