I didn't realize this until I checked the official times, but the gap between first and second in the US is unbelievable. Three tenths of a second! Beyond that everyone gains about a hundredth or two a spot. That's just insane.

I laid down a 1:31.8xx last night, its on the global leaderboard.
I did a 1:32.1xx today, its on the national leaderboard.

Why are the times coming up different on each leaderboard? I swear if i have to upload another 1:31 for the national leaderboard im gonna lose it.

Its still the first 24 hrs and i all ready want to pull my hair out lol. I just finally ran a 1:31.775 and its time for a break lol. Im 8th in usa for now, we will see how much i fall before the night is over.

Don't burn yourself out. You have two weeks. You are high enough that I would take an extended break and just keep an eye on it. Remember being 1st doesn't matter, just have to stay in the top 32.

If I had your time I would sit on it for a while. If you drop below ~20th, then sit down and try to knock some more time off.

Some times were definitely lost last night. I did a 1:32.9xx, which was registered on my "friends" leaderboard, but never appeared on the global or US leaderboards. Only new times, which I've set today, have been registered.

my times werent lost though, its just that my fastest time only registered on the global leaderboards and not the national leaderboard.. so now i only have a 1:32.0xx on the national board and not my 1:31.8xx.. ARGH :ouch:

I noticed this as well.

Global times appear intact over night, but your fastest times obtained last night are missing from the U.S. leaderboard (unless you beat it today, then it'll update).

I was lucky today to have beaten yesterday's time.

Anyone having trouble with their times registering? This is my time for 8-5 but after about 30 minutes last night on this challenge it's not showing:

Turbo, can you see my times on your GTA screen?

Yep, just checked. The Global leader board has me down for a 1:32.115, and the USA leader board shows me with a 1:32.714.

Edit: @ Jav, I'm at work will check later.

Dropped another two tenths to a 1:32.111. The 26th fastest American and the fastest with a controller by a good margin now. I can see myself at a 1:31.xxx sometime in the future. 👍

I show you 24th, actually. I should be 25th with my time, but it's showing the incorrect lap which is putting me 60th. 👎

I wonder what's up with this leader board issue. I haven't encountered any of that so far, or at least I think not.

Myself? Managed 1:35.941. Last I checked I'm 1207th. :) That ain't too bad... (For 8-5 that is)

It's showing an incorrect time for me also...... It isn't showing my fastest time logged - wonder why..

Yeah im going to take a break and just keep an eye on it, was definetly getting burned out fast. Definetly good advice though. 👍

And if you look at USA rankings now you might have moved up a spot now because let_canada_in got taken off the US list.

This is BS! When I booted GTA up today my time was there but it was showing as I hadn't even ran 8-5 yet! Now it's using the times from today on the globals, but my 32.931 is still showing on my screen! Yet another F up by the geniuses at PD! Blah!

All the times on the official list in the event and on the friends list are gone but i got the gold trophy and when i cross the finish line my records still there. Its all very weird but atleast they seem to have 8-5 working right.

More leaderboard information:

I ran all of Round 8 in my USA account last night (within a couple of hours after the rounds opened) to get the golds & prizes. Today on the website, only the round 8-5 time is showing in the global rankings but nothing shows up on the USA board.

I assume this odd update behaviour will be sorted out before too long.

Yeah, pretty easy stuff huh? Working on that, but it's pretty hard when you're pi**ed thinking about what happened and if it's gonna happen again...
