I'm in the same boat. Got to a 1:31.640 and I can see the extra time on the track, but I find the car/driving style frustrating. I'm also convinced someone put the aero pieces on the car upside down...

Congrats to the top 32; enjoy the finals 👍

Right there with you. I can hang with the top US times until the second bridge... after that I just can't stay ahead. It sucks because right now I am as fast as the top US time until that section. I know I can make it, it is just a matter of doing it.

Ill be the oldest and fattest one in San Diego.

haha, don't worry about the fat part, I got you xD.

3 hours left and holding steady at 21, I can almost feel the light!

Thanks to every one for the well wishes!

Whew...happy to hit a 31.166. Not happy that it was a run I was about to can as I was over a tenth behind my ghost and decided to turn it into a practice run. Guess that's the funny thing about playing catch up, more focus, less worry. Ended up nailing the last two corners, which have destroyed numerous fast runs.

Well I was going to try and sneak in some runs today, but have changed my mind. Seriously, what's the point?

I'm going to focus on getting my CDL at this point and let the dream die.

See the top 32 in San Diego! ;)

I'm 25.

It would be awesome to finally meet you in SD Jason btw, I really hope you make it out. Along with every one else, maybe we can crash at Reese's casita xD lots of Pure racers in the line ups around the world, it's awesome!

If I make it I'm taking Dennis's GTA gear from the first GT Academy Swedish Finals for every one to rub for good luck!

Wow, I can't be the youngest... there's bound to be someone in there that's around 19.

so I can blame being 33 for my missing .4? ;)

seriously though congrats to everyone, Eddie's determination almost inspired me to give it another go today... but going from 31.6 to 31.2 is a tall order. Though I'm happy with what I did get done in only 5 short stints of effort.

Enjoy the ride boys 👍

Ive been trying to do more physical activity to drop some weight. Id like to lose 30 lbs by August, although Im not really sure how many calories I can burn from playing fruit ninja kinect. Id imagine Ill have to something more strenuous than that. Quitting smoking is gonna be the hard part.

Just hit a .203. So happy I could do a decent one when it counted the most.

Congratulations! A .203 is perfect! Stay right there xD

Here's my retry and mileage stats btw!

I only did Rounds 1 and 2 for a few tries then stopped until 7 and 8 were finally open, then I just burned through all of the segments golding them for the cars then proceeded to hit 8-5 hard.

Though I'd have a lot more retries.
