Round 3 of 2011 GT Academy is complete: Bryan Heitkotter is in the lead in what is still a very tight competition.
The following competitors have been eliminated and will not move on to round 4:

Who´s in, who´s out?

This is why YouTube is the preferred and standard video hosting site.
Not all of us carry a desktop nor a laptop everywhere we go. The site he decided to use alienates users. "Whining"? How dare you.
"Alienates users?" Get over yourself. He's using a common video hosting site. So what if its not the "most common." He's giving us info that we wouldn't have otherwise, hence he's doing us a huge favor. Wait till you get home and watch the videos. The minor inconvenience won't kill you.
Oh and in case you're wondering, there's a quicktime app download for the iphone.
Whatever.
You people don't seem to understand that GT Academy is a BIG DEAL. Which calls for a certain level of responsibility to those who share the experience with 100,000+ members of this community.
I've been giving you info on how to watch the vid's since page 2, but you don't seem to get it.Just keep waving your banner of "it works for me so screw you".
I don't get that it's a big deal? You've stepped over a line there. And I'm sorry but the facebook page is the OFFICIAL report on the academy so thats ALL the info you should be getting. If you don't like the extra info, don't read it and kindly leave.

QuickTime is native to the iPhone, there is not "an app for that".
If you would have posted that link after I first brought up the compatibility issue all this crap would not have happened.
THANK YOU!!!
Pompous? Really? All over video format incompatibility. Unbelievable. Your (and the others') insults are so helpful and welcoming.

Midman, were you having playback issues as well?
I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR!!!!! What don't you get?????
And yes, I looked for a "Vimeo" app!!!!
So let me get this straight, you thought I was just complaining (bringing up an issue with compatibility) just for sport. Wow.
Are there any other race footage videos? I'd just like to see how clean these top racers drive on the track. Seeing that yellow car come flying up the inside from 2 spots back is not exactly inspiring footage for someone who was knocked out of round 1.
Wow, it wouldn't be a GTP thread without drama!!
Man, you need to give it a bit of a rest. Grafpt was nice enough to volunteer to go down to the event last minute. He is a member of this forum that is not a paid journalist, does not have a film crew, and no audio/video guy. I personally, am very thankful for what he has covered. He is part of what I like about the GTPlanet community.I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR!!!!! What don't you get?????

SohnVonStigSuure thats what I was saying. Haha. Look, I hope the videos work for you now, there's some really cool footage.
