Are there any other race footage videos? I'd just like to see how clean these top racers drive on the track. Seeing that yellow car come flying up the inside from 2 spots back is not exactly inspiring footage for someone who was knocked out of round 1.

I wouldn't worry about it. Even professional racers will pull desperate moves when the stakes are high.

Wow, it wouldn't be a GTP thread without drama!! woo lol I was a guest here at this event. I am not being paid, I do not officially work for anyone. I am doing the best I can, so thats really all I can say. I have tried all types of video upload portals, and using my dropbox is the only efficient one, and one that does not take hrs to upload. Vimeo is iPhone friendy fyi.

Thanks for updating the list of the drivers still in it Stig. Just looking down the list and realizing most of the guys from your and Forced's lounge are still in it. Great to see that the community here, coming together, and racing together, is really paying off!

I feel bad for whomever the final four cuts are going to be. We are almost down to the the final 16. Push guys, push... I know this must be draining, but you are almost there. Good luck!

Man, you need to give it a bit of a rest. Grafpt was nice enough to volunteer to go down to the event last minute. He is a member of this forum that is not a paid journalist, does not have a film crew, and no audio/video guy. I personally, am very thankful for what he has covered. He is part of what I like about the GTPlanet community.

2011 GT Academy Finals:
The last of the drivers have crossed the finish line. The officials are currently reviewing the replays, where each race is triple checked by all 8 judges to make the final decisions on penalties and points.

Stay tuned for the full announcement where we'll reveal the 16 drivers who will move on to Silverstone,... England. Who did you choose?

Unfortunately, they don't. Even after signing up for a DropBox account. Common sense says it should launch when encountering one of it's videos.

Look, I really do appreciate your help. I can promise I'm not the only person stuck. Jordan didn't create the iPhone app just for me. And there is an update today. Adds FaceBook sharing and some other goodies.

I'm sure there is awesome footage. If it was just someone's GT5 damage videos, it wouldn't be a big deal worth deep discussion.

The VLC app might be able to play them, I hope.
