Will be leaving around 4.30, so should be there around 5ish, M25 traffic permitting.

Really looking forward to meeting everyone and having a few beers tonight :D

Yes, it was confirmed in our paperwork that we as contestants would also be receiving a lap around Brand's Hatch from a special guest driver 👍

That's great news, hopefully he'll give you full-on laps so you can experience the element that's missing from GT, namely the g-force! 👍
 
Well it's comedy all the way in Newport this morning. Had seats booked on the 1209 to paddington, which has been cancelled. Later trains are showing as delayed. Fire alert at paddington means we can't tube it to victoria either!

Starting to get a bit cold here on the platform!

Hi Alex, if your train does make it into Paddington and the tube is still closed then you can walk without too much grief to Bayswater station (on Queensway) and get the District line southbound to Earl's Court, then change there onto an eastbound District line to Victoria. Alternatively if the Circle Line is working you can get it directly from Bayswater to Victoria (also Southbound IIRC).

Other options include walking from Paddington to Royal Oak station, Hammersmith and City line Eastbound to King's Cross, change to Victoria Line and southbound to Victoria station.

This is of course assuming your train stops at Paddington :(

These alerts don't usually last a very long time and an alternative should present itself pretty soon mate. Worst comes to worst your train into Paddington may stop at Ealing Broadway, where you can change to District Line and go straight to Victoria on any Eastbound train.
