GT game must make us aware of climate change and also driving safely.

which can be fully charged from a 110 volt AC outlet in 10 minutes.
And where does the electricity come from?

Anyway I just rub the dust away from my sandles and go away for those who does not listen or don't give a **** about the environment or people who arew getting killed anyway going back to GT ,but still cars that uses alternative source of energy is future proof and much safer and economical.
But anyway, this is the Gran Turismo forum. Please take your views and opinions on global warming and climate change to the opinions and current events forums. Thanks.

My point is ther should be more next gen cars that use alternative source of energy, clean and efficient since this is next gen already and oil is almost dried out and polluitng our environment and also since this is a simulation there should be modes or features that shows proper driving techniques and even racing techniques. Make it more educational that is what a Simulation is all about.

Driving safely is in every game anyway, but climate change sort of isn't needed. I mean a notice like 'Please note that driving quickly may cause climate change' doesn't seem to work at all.

I want global see levels to rise.
More room for the fish.

More room for fish but no more room for people :dopey: Anyway next gen cars should be the focus of GT since thats the trend right now. research for the best cars that does not need fossil fuel anymore adn more safe, faster and more economical. And to stop this selfish oil company cartels and arabs who is playing us throughout the century and getting rich from over price oil and polluting the environment.

And this next gen cars are cooler like that Shelby that I shown earlier.

Shelby Ultimate Aero EV uses a lithium ion battery pack, which can be fully charged from a 110 volt AC outlet in 10 minutes. This powertrain can be scaled from 200 up to 500 horsepower, with a special, dual-motor configuration that could produce 1,200 horsepower.

this thread sort of reminds on the "3D trees in Gran Turismo 5"

I mean seriously come on, whats this about climate change and road safety in a video game.
You can easily exaggerate things!!

Chris

This thread has to be a joke right? Come on climate change? Safe racing ? I prefer my gaming experience to give me what I cant do in real life, such as driving a gas hogging fire belching V12 at 200mph in an unsafe manner.

Climate change? What climate change?
Go to Asia and you will see how much they are suffering from the neglect and greed of few companies and country on the environment. Anyway going back , i think Kaz mention that he was very much interested with electric cars that is why he include them for gt5. He has a vision for the fture of cars

Okay no cares while your house in under 20 feet of water. Come on this game can be a medium to encourage to support cars that use alternative and clean source of energy by including them more
No, nobody will care when YOUR house is 20 feet under (water, dirt, I'm not partial), preferably with you in it.

Tell you what, why don't we make a wager on your house.

If it's underwater while it's still YOUR house (as in, belongs to you, you pay tax on it, you're responsible for it, etc), we rename GTPlanet to yogaflame.

You have to write in your will, however, that if it's NOT underwater when it STOPS being YOUR house, it gets donated to Bugatti's lead engine developer.
Take this for example Shelby Supercars will reach an extraordinary 208mph. This car, which is due to go on sale before the end of the year, will sprint to 60mph in just 2.5 seconds. And it looks great.

Considered as the most powerfull and fastest electric car, According to Shelby, the powertrain developed for the Ultimate Aero EV uses a lithium ion battery pack, which can be fully charged from a 110 volt AC outlet in 10 minutes. This powertrain can be scaled from 200 up to 500 horsepower, with a special, dual-motor configuration that could produce 1,200 horsepower.

This is what i want too see more on GT, next gen cars that uses alternative source of energy and environmental safe and without using petroleum or gas but still performs very well and fast. This type cars should be shown more on GT, or people will be more aware about them and to support this type of cars to make this cars cheaper. GT is a powerfull tool to advertise next gen cars and safety.

You can still enjoy the speed and power from cars that does not use fossil fuel, just from this example from shelby. And i think there are more sports cars using alternative source of energy. Since Gt5 is for next year i hope to see more of them and also some tracks or modes about driving techniques and safety.

My point is ther should be more next gen cars that use alternative source of energy, clean and efficient since this is next gen already and oil is almost dried out and polluitng our environment and also since this is a simulation there should be modes or features that shows proper driving techniques and even racing techniques. There is not enough bull**** in the world to adequately describe those few posts.

The Shelby will NOT do what they've claimed. My complimentary Red Bull****-o-meter is reading >9000 (so I crushed it, obviously).

Honestly, your argument is based on PR for a car that doesn't exist.

Games do often act as a 'release' rather than the amplifier for things as the media (and yogafail) will have you believe. Winding down from a long day with some GT or TF2 or HL2 is a great way to relieve one's mind, and contrary to belief, so far I've had no urges to drive a Nissan Skyline dangerously fast through Tokyo. Nor do I have any desire to backstab fat people and dress up as others.

Admittedly, smacking people in the face with a crobar and throwing heavy things around with ease IS appealing to me.

As for safety, I doubt many here have realised it, but those slaloms and brake tests with and without electronic aids...are some of the things you do in a defensive driving course.

Beyond that, it's all abstract. Improving reaction times, and gaining an understanding (no matter how basic) of what's going on and how to get out of it, are, surprisingly, GOOD THINGS.

GT game must make us aware of climate change and also driving safely.

No, it really must not. In fact, it should promote the glory days of motoring so the younger generations can re-live them.

Didn't they always put a screen before the game begins that you have to put your seatbelt on and drive safely? And they have electrical cars in their Racing game, so what are you on about? This is pure nonsense.

yogaflame what your doing is like a vegetarian going into the steakhouse and telling everyone what they should order. When in reality if your a vegetarian you should just avoid the steakhouse, same here. I f you dont like gashogging, over the top powerful, dangerous supercars...then stay away from MY GT.

Ok, now you need to calm down a bit before directing yourself to the AUP.

Gran Turismo is a good medium to portray your ideas, yogaflame, but as you can see, it will not be very we'll recieved. Its the motorhead's favourite game, and I guess we are trying to say don't ruin it for us.

Thats not to say that we are fanboys who hate green cars. Its more that we like green cars and safe driving, but we like a split between our green real life and our rip snorting GT.

Its a bit like splitting family with friends. You like and see the point of both, but you wouldn't take you mum with you when you go get smashed with your friends, would you?

EDIT: I don't know who or what the AUP is, but I've dealt with my fair share or the green party. And science is NOT their strong suit.

But they're dealt with easily enough; ask them to back up everything they've said beyond reasonable doubt, and make it personal (more often than not, they're acting to take away somebody ELSE's liberties).

For **** Sake!

Its a Game, where I can Enjoy every Freakin Gas Guzzler i Want and be the most Anti Eco Friendly Person I Want without any Problems/Side Effects.

So whats the Point of Bringing al this Eco whatever Problems that are Killing the Car Culture, BUT Saving our planet, to one of the best Racing/Car Games EVAR!!!!111

Again, Its a Game and its made for us To somewhat Forget Reality and all its problems, if you happen to like being eco friendly then start in Your House by doing everything you can to make it Greener, or Green? Who knows, the only thing i know its that i Dont want to see a Game like Gran Turismo Being Completely Eco snob and start advertising CO2 Emissions, Freaking MPG, H.S.G.P.L.H.B.H.E.P.O.G.S.E.* being the Principal atractive of the game...

Short Story: No Eco **** in Gran Turismo besides Electric Cars and Hybrids, no climate change, global warming, deforestation, speed bumps, speed cameras, please.

* That Means: Hybrid Synergy Green and Powerful Like Hulk Battery-Hydrogen-E85 Powered One Gear Slushbox Econocar

The AUP (acceptable use policy) is that thing you say you've read and understood when you join this site - stating that you won't try getting round the swear filter, or, more seriously, wishing death or harm upon another user.

Think about it.

This is pretty much ridiculous.

It should be the job of schools and the education system to teach about climate change, if this isn't done then its the failing of that system, it should not be put on an entertainment game, an escape from reality, to teach about climate change.

I wouldn't mind a few electric/eco friendly cars in GT5 as long as they don't push the release date further.

BUT

And this next gen cars are cooler like that Shelby that I shown earlier.

If that's the future of supercars, the future sucks. i bet that won't sound as good as "proper" supercars, or be even half as much fun to drive.

A lot of people hate green cars rather die of cancer of the lungs from smokes or greenhouse gases which gives them skin cancer . I did not say remove the old gas guzzlers what i say is include safety tips and also environment friendly cars. And by the way about the shelby , try to google that and you will see the full specs of the car that just leave all your gas guzzlers to dust.
I'm just making an opinion if you don't like it don;t be to personal. It is so shallow to make an insult for just making a suggestion or opinion. Hey OIL will not last forever!

But you've still not answered the question of where the electricity to charge it up comes from.

Oh man you did not get the meaning of my first statements. what I mean is no one heer carres about global warming but in the end if yiur house is under 20 ft. of water because of to much rain or melted ice then you will see how important climate change impact around the world and the importance to endorse more on green cars

Yes some of us hate them, but some of us also hate the cars we drive now. Finances force us to make desicions, and these days, more and more people are getting green cars. You don't need to tell people to buy grren cars if they are playing a car game, because chances are they already know about them.

I'd like the see the range on that SSC....and how long it takes to charge. Besides - if OIL doesn'tlast forever, how, pray tell, do you suggest we charge the thing? Wind? Hydro? Solar? There are serious detrimental issues for all of them.

Can you give us an example of the safety tips you'd like included?

And I didn't insult you (or at least didn't have the intention).

Oil may not last forever, but that is not the issue. The issue is should "green"cars be in GT5...and the answer is 🤬 NO. Thats the beauty of games ,we can keep our gas guzzlers in the gameworld as long as we want.

But you've still not answered the question of where the electricity to charge it up comes from.

What do you mean? Of course you charge it from an outlet like all electric cars or a recharge station like those on Japan , and again if you are pointing this argument to power plant that use gas as source of energy thats a different issue. but most countries plan to use alternative source in the future for power plants. I SAY AGAIN OIL IS NOT FOREVER AND YOU ARE ALL BEING BRAIN WASHED BY SELFISH OIL CARTELS AND ARABS WHO WANTS MORE BUCK AND TO RAISE MORE PRICE ON OIL. anyway back to get topic my point is just include more green cars and safety tips and driving technique modes.

Incase you didn't realise, electricity comes from burning fossil fuels.

Also, whipping out my shiny card now. You're grammar and spelling is atrocious, you're trying to argue that climate change (which has been vastly blown out of proportion by the media) and driving safely (It's a game, not an education program) should be included in GT. No, just no, if you're going to argue these, then at least put some time and effort into your posts.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR TOPIC. Honestly, fossil fuels are probably the main reason that the human race is as developed as it is now. We didn't build the worlds greatest accomplishments by sticking tree's together with PVA glue.

Also, I'm going to bring out the racist card, stop slamming Arabs by saying their conning us. Maybe they are, but the east is pretty much where most of the oil is right now. By the way, guess whats being used to power the computer that your using to type your bull**** on?

Not you but some shallow minded individuals here who are not sport but i dont want to fight peace! about safety how about having an obstacle course or a mode where how to properly turn your car or signals, or how to properly overtake or how to do defensive maneuvers and if you past does test you will have additional licence. I think you know what i mean , in the licence section include safety maneuvers.

And I say to all of you in the future and even now green cars are out performing a gas guzzlers and if you just want the sound of a gas guzzler then thats your choice. But performance , handling, etc future proof are for green cars.
